Couldn't care less about Arteta and Flamini partnering one another in midfield but why the **** are we playing Chambers at right back when Bellerin is much better option especially against a weak defensive side.

We would look 100X better if we brought on Bellerin. So many times the ball has gone down the right and Chambers fails to link up with Ox/Sanchez.

Don't like Arteta and Flamini in the same starting 11.
Against a top team if you're playing for a draw it might work, but against the bottom team you should be putting in another attacking player.

Looked so much better once Chambers started making the right runs down the wing.

I thought Gibbs was excellent and was one of the few (Alexis/Monreal) who constantly tried to put the side on the front foot. Theo looked sharp on his return though like all long term injuries will have games where his touch and finishing completely alludes him. Ramsey looked sluggish with a few good moments.

Finally Podolski did his usual game over late sub off the bench tease where he looks a million bucks and heavily interested in the game only for him to no doubt start midweek and have his mind in Cologne.

Sanchez is ridiculous. If only we had him last season when we had some players in top form.

Wow, Santi has let the lack of goals get to him. He had a virtual tap in - but instead he took his time to make sure he struck it right and allowed the defender to block it. Big problems with him.

Much better game from Ox though. His final pass was impressive.

I thought Flamini had his best game for a long time. Arteta offers nothing ATM.

Shelvey sent off for Swansea BTW. Will miss our match next week which is handy.

So, we finally have an amazing South American magician.

The elite of elite player, hopefully we can hold on to him and build a world class team.

Shelvey missing is very handy, would walk right back into that lpool team who sent him packing, been very good for the swans.

Arsenal v Burnley

Pros+

Alexis - Like Henry, Van Persie and Fabregas we now have a player that is carrying the entire team. 8 games 7 goals and two assists in the league and easily MOTM in 3 out of our last 4 games. Everything he does is of a quality very few can match. Genuine World Class player.
Chambers - Got forward well in the second half and bagged his first Arsenal goal. Looked very threatening combining with Ox.
Ox - This is the Ox we need. Decisive running and pace on the flank with a few tricks, was a handful all night.
Nacho - Really starting to settle into the CB role. The biggest compliment you can give him is that he wasn't noticeable all night (even though there was little threat from Burnley)
Gibbs - Solid defensive work and good attacking threat.
Cazorla - I've ripped on him in the last few games and he still wasn't great but got into the right positions and could (really should have) had two goals. Still looks lacking in confidence.
Flamini - Made some good intercepts. Buzzed around.
Walcott - He's back!

Negatives -

Hard to come up with any in a 3-0 win.

Arteta - Still doesn't really provide anything?
Welbeck - pretty much anonymous for most of the night.

Arsene's tactics - Supposedly we played a 4-4-2 but I couldn't really tell.

Subs - Walcott, Ramsey and Poldolski.

Walcott replaced Campbell on the bench. Poor guy must be wondering what he needs to do to get game time! I'll be really sad when he is sold in January/end of season because he looks like he could offer something special.

Ratings

Wojo - 6 (Really didn't have anything to do all game)
Gibbs - 7
Chambers - 7
Nacho - 7
Mert - 7
Flamini - 6
Arteta - 6
Ox - 7
Cazorla - 6
Alexis - 9.5
Welbeck - 6

If he is going to play Sanchez as the #10 then he might as well sell one of Ozil or Wilshere.

Id prefer a 4-4-2 with Ozil as a AMC behind both Sanchez and Giroud.

But who ****ing knows what's going on with our formations..

Ozil out wide is a waste of 40 million.

Sanchez has been a floating number ten the last couple of games, he's pretty much played in every position so far across our front third at some point this season.

Problem is, we've already got too many players in our squad vying for the number 10 position. Ozil, Rosicky, Cazorla and now Jack, Ramsey and Alexis. But they're never fit at the same time anyway.

Not sure why Wenger gave a two year extension to Rosicky.

We really should be offloading some attacking players in January. And buying that DM - which is a bit of a mirage at Arsenal.
