i have tried to build into the normal interview questions a fair bit of what has already been asked about as it is all really obvious things we would love to know.

still on the look out for a couple more specific, really good questions that we can ask at the end from the listeners.

i have already got 2 down, one from Sterge and the other from KiwiTiger as they didn't blend into what is already being asked.

so try to think of some left field questions!

Great stuff, one of our best from the previous era. I've been lucky enough to benefit from the hospitality of his brother Rhett in one of the more remote locations in Australia & some bonus tips on improving my batting technique (such an astute cricketer); my question would be along the lines of "How has the support of such an extensive sporting family affected Joel's own playing and administrative career?"

yep....especially 1996. I know he was a new kid on the block but club had just come of a prelim, talent in the team, a rampaging Richo was kicking goals.... and...well you know how it went.

Actually, on a serious note if it hasn't been brought up already, when I googled him and got that pic, there was an article about Labor looking to recruit him for Parliament. Might be something worth asking him about with what he is doing now and into the future.

Questions have been finalised and sent off to him for approval. As mentioned, i have tried to capture as much in the questions as possible while still remaining respectful and not asking questions that force him to degrade anyone etc.
