This would be fun to watch:thumbsu: Can anyone recall Waters playing in the forward line even once?

Remember he started up forward in a final against Sydney at Subi from memory? 06?

I just don't get it. He was drafted at pick 30. Now, we're going to give them an upgrade when he's shown nothing, nominated us and we are the first WA club in the PSD, before Brisbane.

Our trading guys suck. We're going to pay more for him than we bloody got for Ebert (a pick 13 that played almost every game he was uninjured).

Kicked the first two goals of the 2005 Qualifying Final against Sydney. We lost though ;)

We won the 2005 Qual final (Dodgy Stenglein sheppard on the mark free kick)
2006 was the one we lost (Micky O yelling at the cheer squad)

He hasn't shown "nothing". He's shown more than Cripps had before we got him.
The trade hasn't been made yet; it's all conjecture at this point. If we do give up pick 24 then criticism would probably be warranted, but until then everyone calm down.

Then why do we want him at all? I'd say he has shown a fair bit actually.

Just going on what has been discussed in the media. Which is kind of all we can go on. I don't like comparing him to Cripps as we well overpaid for him too.

Maybe I shouldn't have said nothing. All I am saying is we seem to tend to overpay on what we need to under some misguided theory of keeping good relationships. Then we get but r*ped in return and wonder why. We're still trading like it is 1990, but everyone else has moved on.

Media are also suggesting that Shuey or Scooter could be leaving. Don't take what they say as gospel and don't rush to judgement so quickly.
We hardly overpaid for Cripps. Promising but speculative player for a speculative pick in a poor draft.

Going on what has been discussed in the media is one thing, but acting like it's already happened and we've been royally shafted and heads should roll is a bit much.
