Right or wrong for a lot of clubs and their players its all about image also. How does it look if he goes in the PSD and the image it portrays him in.

Good on yeo if he won't go in the psd and is asking that Brisbane at least get something for him in a trade.

Apparantly the deal is done in principle just needs to be signed.

WCE Eagles get picks 11 and 27 from Collingwood. and Yeo from Brisbane and give pick 27 to Brisbane for Yeo.

Not sure if I liked giving pick 6 to Collingwood.

I would be f*** livid if true. That is weak as piss from us. Not even getting 10.

Why wouldn't we take pick 10 instead of 11.

Not sure about this trade either

I know there are some other options, and 10 would be better, but the other main option is to give brisbane 28.

11, 28 and Yeo

or

6, 44 and Yeo?

Moving four spots down to move up 16. I don't mind it.

Will Collingwood do this deal before the Shaw/Adams trade?

Guess it depends how your club rates the talent between 6 and 11. It's reasonably even imo. But your club could have someone in mind at pick 6.

Should be getting pick 10 off Collingwood, not pick 11. Throwing us a pick in the early 30s isn't enough compensation for us giving them two cracks at the best kids before we get our first pick.

I hate the deal without pick 10.

it's funny as well, they difference it appears to make from downgrading from a single digit pick to a double digit pick.

if we were going from 5 to 9, there wouldn't be so many ppl against it.

what would you prefer on draft day, 6 and 44 or 11 and 28?[/quote]
Personally I'd prefer the 11 and 28 _ better chance of of getting 2 players that will give you 100 games plus. Pick 44: very slim chance of that these days.

I agree with this. Just would prefer it not to be Collingwood we are giving it to.

Disagree..take the best player available @ 6 and hold out on 28 until we know what freo are doing with their 2nd rounder..if we have to give up 28 on the last day of trade wk then we have to.

I think everyone will always prefer to get more in return.

But there is a reasonable chance our decision will be my question to you. In the hypothetical situation that it is, what would you prefer on draft day, 6 and 44 or 11 and 28?
depends on the situation. who's available at 6? do they suit our needs? supposedly it's quite even after the first three or four, and supposedly it drops off markedly after 30.

based on that, clearly you take 11 and 28.

what other homesick WA kids have been drafted in the 3rd or 4th round or rookied in the past few years?

just wondering who we're going to blow our first round pick on next year...

Probably be used to secure Chris Watermans kid under father son rules. Apparently he is a gun.
