Perhaps after this trade week will actually have something to crow about. That'd be nice - a good draft would be even better.
Would love a movement to start for WA players to come back West in droves. Awesome. State of Origin to come back too so we can destroy some flogs from the East.

Yeo's footskills were very average as an u18 player, which is why he didn't go so high in the draft. I think they have improved a lot since drafted but still not special. I'm not sure he really improves the skills of the team as you suggest but will still be a solid pickup.

Yeo had a issues to do with a hip flexor as a junior which inhibited his kicking action and caused him to almost 'develop' an ugly ball drop to compensate.

Age & specialised training has rectified a lot of this. Have a look at him this year.

I suspect that the there are few that claim they want to go home publically without someone from West Coast/Freo having communicated some interest in them. It's pretty suicidal, career wise, to say that you want to go somewhere where you actually aren't all that wanted.

The playing coming out and nominating a club means the price is more likely to be right too.

There is truth to that, but conversely when a player want to leave for anything bar 'homesickness' they can often be panned for it if they are a young player.
