Doesn't bother me either way. My Only hope is you look at both sides of the story objectively and don't get caught up on sound bites anymore. To start critically thinking on all topics as it's time for some real discussions so we can put a stop to the division and make some real postive changes.
They where talking about how they were trying to stop the spread of covid by using ultra violet techniques and Trump thought how disinfectant kills covid within a minute so could we incorporate that somehow. It's literally in the video. Of course we are stuck talking about non relevant misinterpreted ridiculous talking points tho. This is why Trump supporters don't like discussing and trying to explain themselves because what's the point it always ends up like this.

I shared a fact check on the disinfectant claim and showed how you've been misled. I am not smarter then the next person but I look at both sides of the story unlike many who still believe in the many falsehoods that's come out over Trump. I am trying to show you that you've been deliberately misled but I can see you are not genuine in your discussion. I’m having this same conundrum with my group of 10 or so close friends. Half are now Trump supporters. Early days there were a few arguments because I was in disbelief with some of their views but now I actively avoid any political conversation.

Your desire and goals are genuine and commendable, I can't speak for your friends with absolute certainty but I highly doubt they believe the rhetoric that the media portrays on Trump. I urge you to discuss your concerns tho and hear them out which doesn't have to be politically based, just to get an idea of what they believe and why. Ask them about the so called horrible things you believe Trump has said and done and why it doesn't bother them because I assure you there's a legitimate answer coming that will probably revolve around Trump didn't actually say that/it's been completely taken out of context.
If your so well read and educated why can't you receive a basic fact check and not only not discuss it in good will but decide to choose one of the lowest forms of a response. As the quote goes it's easier to fool somebody than to show them that they've been fooled. You sum this up to an absolute T.
