Because of the 32 charges he is facing that have bern put on hold due to not beimg able to prosecute a president.
And future rape charges that will come up or have already been filed.
why wasnt he pros when he was running for pres? how many court cases got thrown out?

How many trumped up charges do you think were made to attack him and take him out of the running? couldnt resist that one.:)

Prior to COVID the US unemployment rate was the lowest in 50 years. Wasn't that a good thing for the average person?
Economic reforms take years to come into effect. In other words, Trump didn’t cause low unemployment.

I think one of the reasons he won is because people look at the here and now of government and have no idea how long major changes take. They just don’t care if they’re doing it hard in the moment.

he is? dont you think you missed something?

Who got the most funding out of the two parties?
AND...where did the money come from?
Dunno , where did the money come from?
I know Musk gave trump $132 million and the bastard coal barons gave millions and the Proud Boys chipped in and the racist Pillow guy and the Brietbart people donated to trump.
Plus Saudi Arabia and Russian sympathisers.

I know of a lot of Americans and also Australians that work two or three jobs,
Will Trump wave a magic wand and people only need one job if he happens to bring back off sure companies ,I highly doubt that.

They did, but that can't be pinned on Republicans. They were the anti-slavery party.
Need to ignore the party specifics, I don't really care about what party was doing what 50-100 years ago. Just the fact a reactionary force reacted to a progressive step of abolishing slavery. Same thing has happened since gains/events such as Civil rights movment, roe v wade, gay marriage, black president etc.

If dems are coming out tomorrow planning on changing their agenda going "**** this Trump guy he doesn't want to deport enough illegals, we want to shoot them all by the end of the month", I am not going to defend that, thats not what this is about.

I think trump's main aims are to siphon a few billion through his idiot children from Russia in exchange for backstabbing Ukraine and let Netanyahu kill another 10,000 children in exchange for 12 hotels built on the Gaza strip coast.
And get the nobel peace prize

Democrats raised and spent 3x the Republicans did.

How do you think they did that - rattling cans?

The 13 Keys

  1. Party mandate: After the midterm elections, the incumbent party holds more seats in the US House of Representatives than after the previous midterm elections.
  2. Contest: There is no serious contest for the incumbent party nomination.
  3. Incumbency: The incumbent party candidate is the sitting president.
  4. Third party: There is no significant third party or independent campaign.
  5. Short term economy: The economy is not in recession during the election campaign.
  6. Long term economy: Real per capita economic growth during the term equals or exceeds mean growth during the previous two terms.
  7. Policy change: The incumbent administration effects major changes in national policy.
  8. Social unrest: There is no sustained social unrest during the term.
  9. Scandal: The incumbent administration is untainted by major scandal.
  10. Foreign/military failure: The incumbent administration suffers no major failure in foreign or military affairs.
  11. Foreign/military success: The incumbent administration achieves a major success in foreign or military affairs.
  12. Incumbent charisma: The incumbent party candidate is charismatic or a national hero.
  13. Challenger charisma: The challenging party candidate is not charismatic or a national hero.
About as much scientific rigour as water divining.

I think that's a great result though. A much more democratic result. Noting the massive shifts in values in the US, i think it is good that people in Alabama can't tell people in California what to do on abortion and vice versa.
All fine for state specific things like ranked choice voting, marijuana, access to guns etc.

Absolutely not for health care, human rights, etc

Bear in mind abortion has and always will be popular in the majority of the country and majority of states, including Red states.

Poll here from Pew: https://www.pewresearch.org/religious-landscape-study/database/

Or for more recent data, a majority voting for abortion in:
Arizona
Florida
Missouri
Montana
Nevada

this election….

Nationwide

the SCOTUS judges lied about Roe v Wade in their confirmation hearings.

Trump has directly helped limit access to a human right that is nationally popular.

"The Biden—now Harris—campaign committee raised $997.2 million and Trump’s campaign committee raised $388 million in total between Jan. 2023 and Oct. 16, 2024, the most recent date for which Federal Election Commission filings are available, ending with $118 million and $36.2 million in cash on hand, respectively.

While the campaigns won’t report their full finances again until after Election Day, candidates are still required to report donations of $1,000 or above to the FEC within 48 hours—which are largely breaking for Harris, whose campaign raised $19.5 million from bigger donors between Oct. 17 and Nov. 1, as compared with only $4.5 million for Trump.

The Harris campaign raised $97.2 million in the first half of October alone, while the Trump campaign raised only $16.2 million, after Harris shook up what was previously a more evenly matched cash race (Biden and Trump had raised $284.1 million and $217.2 million in total as of the end of June, respectively).

The Harris Victory Fund—which raises money for both Harris’ campaign and Democratic groups—raised $1.2 billion this election cycle, according to a FEC filing released on Oct. 24"

Yep so what? People gave money to rid America of a racist facist. That's a good thing. Trumps money was dirty , filthy 'transactional' money. Trump has to repay Musk and the coal bastards now.

So this is probably the closest to accurate, unbiased and well constructed USA election poll in existence ATM.
It was undertaken by the major data collection and polling group AtlasIntel which got the closest to correct prediction in 2020 as per this list (Chief will probably restrict this so only logged in members can see results).

The Poll: ( https://www.atlasintel.org/poll/usa-national-2024-09-14) was taken on the day of and the day after the Trump/Harris debate and covers a much wider and in depth field of questions. It includes opinions on current leadership of the country as well as opinions on major factors of influence for the upcoming election. It asks questions in a couple of different ways to confirm results etc, as needs to happen for real accuracy and as mentioned was the closest to accurate polling group in 2020.

Anyway the below is a question from this data set that demonstrates a very different USA public response to that which is being promulgated by most media outlets and the polling groups they are quoting and promoting.
It will be very interesting to see if AtlasIntel repeat their more accurate performance than all the other failed polling groups.

And the stars of these films neither die nor get killed
Just survive constant action replay"
