He's been training and keeping fit i think he's going to have one last crack
He's 29, injury plagued and has played one tour match in the last two years. He's done.
Hasn't announced he's retiring so must be thinking he can go around again well see

Pretty amazing stuff from De Minaur and Thompson. Jordan was just so solid and smart with his tennis today, the use of his net game at the right times have really improved.
Alex is impressive just given the lack of match form. Now one of them is in the quarters. Sweet.
I had a bad feeling about Tiafoe for Popryin tomorrow but we’ll see, play his big game and hopefully it clicks again

No reason why De Minaur could not win this.
If he plays like he did in those last 2 sets, there is no reason he can't. Just need to push his opponent corner to corner forcing errors.

The only thing that worries me about de Minaur is whether he’s completely fit/recovered from that injury. Clearly Evans went off the boil towards the end of that match which helped Alex. A great opportunity for him here though for sure

Dimitrov gets through to the QF. What a journeyman this guy is. It was over 7 years ago when he had that epic 5 setter against Rafa in the AO SF. Dropped in rankings now is back in top 10 in his 30s
