But it’s true though. This is his ceiling and his body isn’t right for gruelling matches. Just doesn’t have the weapons.
Always said that Popyrin, Kyrgios and Kokkinakis are far far better players than De Minaur, just inconsistent. Natural talent.

I thought it was very noticeable that he wasn’t close to 100% fitness and we all know this important that is for his game. Did well to make the QF stage, a very successful tournament.

ADM was off right from the start was baicscly limping in the end who ever made it through wasnt going go beat Sinner or Meddy in a semi anyway.

Was outplayed regardless and was always going to be so long as Draper didn’t have a meltdown. ADM has improved stacks but the next stage is going from a QF to a semi and onwards, just needs to go for his shots a lot more and not be safe, that does mean more UE’s but that’s fine. Least the semi will be good two players with big weapons regardless who wins the other semi

Well done to Alex for making the quarters. Not too surprised he lost to Draper, it was always a bit of unknown with him having that injury, not forgetting Draper is a very decent player of course. De Minaur is having a great year all things considered.

Nah not regardless mate. A fully fit ADM has a 3-0 h2h. Granted this is a different Draper now but this is a matchup Alex likes when fully fit

Just watched Sinner/Med. Really flat match tbh, neither played that well or at the same time
Sinner is just on another level. The only reason Medvedev won was last time is because Sinner was injured, and even then it went to five sets.
Even though Sinner lost the second set 6-1 it's actually felt closer than that.

Shame with ADM amazing bloke but given his relative lack of weapons he needs to be fit and firing and a bit of luck to really challenge the top players. Put his tenacity and mindset in Kyrgios or poppy you have multi slam calibre talented players

Look if Sabs plays like the quarter she possibly wins but Muchova has plenty of styles unlike Quinwen who if she can’t serve bot and whack winners she doesn’t have a plan B. Muchova has a lot of styles can baseline it but can also serve and volley and uses the slice. This feels like a great final if we get it
