@Stokey do you even consider Trump corrupt and a grifter extraordinaire?
Dont be a useful idiot all your life.
Well this all seems in order and "based in fact", case closed
Involvement with a dodgy politician, gets promoted to some plumb jobs not long after.
This is literally what the guy is known for.
On the 2016 campaign trail, Donald Trump told voters that if they elected him, he would surround himself with the “best” and “most serious” people — a dubious claim given that he had long associated with fraudsters and crooks during his turbulent career in the private sector. Quickly after he was elected, however, it became clear that Trump planned on running the government the same way he ran his business: Hire his family to top positions and flood the White House with loyalists. The result was corruption, incompetence, and what clearly did not come close to meeting the bar of “best” or “most serious.”
In fact, two of Trump’s earliest White House appointments were glaring examples of his willingness to engage in petty corruption: On Jan. 9, 2017, Trump hired his son-in-law Jared Kushner as a senior White House adviser, which, only a few months later, was followed by the new president giving a similar role to his daughter Ivanka Trump.
No I dont. US politics is sll about money raising. They all grift.Answer the question and quit the ad hominem.
Do you consider Trump a corrupt grifter or an honest politician and business man?
Which is it?
No I dont (consider Trump corrupt or a grifter)
Leave me out of your psychosis please. That was yesterdays news which I said I would no longer pull you up for your trolling. Do you like the attention? In any case, still looking forward to that fact-based explainer on how Harris did actually sleep her way to the top. Don't know if you caught up on the thread but Skipper Kelly was very concerned I was trolling someone who was unable to respond, when nothing could be further from the truth.
Im saying you'll be hard to find a US politician that isnt corrupt. Most net worths do not come close yo mayching their salary.Jesus H Christ.
Calm down mate, just re-iterating the point that it wasn't trolling, I was genuinely interested in his response when he was able to give it. And he has, while appearing not to give a single **** that I asked him about it at a time when he was suspended, imagine that.Leave me out of your psychosis please. That was yesterdays news which I said I would no longer pull you up for your trolling. Do you like the attention?
Thats different because ....ummmHa! Says the person who simps for bill gates. He is also pro israel and a billionaire.
Calm down mate, just re-iterating the point that it wasn't trolling, I was genuinely interested in his response when he was able to give it. And he has, while appearing not to give a single **** that I asked him about at a time when he was suspended, imagine that.
Isnt that literally what Trump is known for doing?
Giving friends, family and supporters plumb jobs in his administration (and family affairs generally)?
https://apps.bostonglobe.com/opinion/graphics/2021/06/future-proofing-the-presidency/part-3-a-sordid-family-affair/#:~:text=Donald Trump took nepotism to,-in-law Jared Kushner.&text=Donald Trump exploited loopholes to build a White House rife with nepotism.
He took nepotism to a whole new level didnt he?
And there's the issue.
The stuff that is apparently bad is acceptable for his opposition.
The moral crusaders are hypocrites.
Either it's bad for all or it's not?
It doesn't seem to me that Harris needed any help, if it's reasonable given the circles she moved in, that she would be meeting powerful men, some of whom she might date.
Oh look, it's Kamala's wiki.
Born in Oakland, California, Harris graduated from Howard University and the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. She began her law career in the office of the district attorney (DA) of Alameda County, before being recruited to the San Francisco DA's Office and later the city attorney of San Francisco's office. In 2003, she was elected DA of San Francisco. She was elected attorney general of California in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Harris served as the junior U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021; she defeated Loretta Sanchez in the 2016 Senate election to become the second Black woman and the first South Asian American to serve in the U.S. Senate.[8][9]
Im saying you'll be hard to find a US politician that isnt corrupt.
AOC complained she couldnt pay rent in Washington when first elected but now she is a multi millionaire.
There is no evidence that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a net worth of $29 million, despite online claims that that figure was released by Forbes magazine. Forbes has denied releasing the $29 million figure and no other reliable source for the claim has been cited. Ocasio-Cortez’s most recent financial disclosure, filed in 2021, shows she had between $3,003 and $45,000 in assets, including her 401k pension plan, and owed at least $15,000 in student debts.
Do you find that strange?
Do you think Trump is the equivalent of Hitler?
Mate you are cooked.Yet here you are saying 'Donald Trump is not corrupt' when I asked you if he was.
The Russians have got you again mate:
https://www.reuters.com/article/fac...-has-a-net-worth-of-29-million-idUSL1N2ZL1O2/
Putin good! Democrats bad! Like and share comrade!
No, I find it deliberate misinformation, likely spread by the Russians, that you have been cooked by, hook line and sinker.
No.
But I do think he (and his movement) shares many similarities with Hitler and National Socialism, and that's why all prominent Neo Nazis in the USA (David Duke etc) and the KKK support the shit out of him.
And there's the issue.
The stuff that is apparently bad is acceptable for his opposition.
The moral crusaders are hypocrites.
Either it's bad for all or it's not?
Mate you are cooked.
No, its bad for all.
Trump gets a special mention only because he does it more than anyone else in history, and by a considerable margin.
See, unlike you (who cheers on a particular side) I like to remain internally consistent with my arguments.
While I'm no fan of Trump, I wholly agreed that Biden was senile and not up to the job. I also agreed that it was correct Hunter was convicted of the crime he was charged with. I also congratulated Trump on toning down his rhetoric after the assassination attempt on his life. I also predicted the SCOTUS would find a limited level of Sovereign immunity for Trump (and all presidents).
You blokes just like to flag wave. Try being objective for a bit. You'll be all the better for it when you do.
I am objective.
It's why I seem to have the most posts on this thread pushing for third party involvement in US politics.
Must be easy to just blame everything you dont agree with on the Russians. That's twice now.
You just made the claim that AOC is worth millions, a claim that found its way on the internet via deliberate misinformation, likely spread by the Russians.
When I point this fact out to you, all you can retort with is ad hominem.
Dont shoot the messenger. Just man up and admit you got duped, and we'll all be good.
Must be easy to just blame everything you dont agree with on the Russians.
You come across as totally unhinged.
99.9% of people dont believe what you post here
No, you're not. You admitted as much a week ago.
It's why I support our voting system here in Australia.
It ensures minor parties (Greens, Democrats, One Nation, Xenophon, United Australia, Shooters and Fishers etc) get a say.
Often a very big say.
Touch some grass mate.Wut?
AOC does not have millions of dollars. That was just some shit posted online that you have read and believe to be true.
It's been repeatedly fact checked and found to be false, and she's literally posted and disclosed her salary and finances for all to see.
If she'd lied on that disclosure, she'd be booted out of office.
You honestly think the Republicans would just let that slide?
Just admit you got duped. Again.
Hahahaha!
Hahahahahahahahaha.
Lol. Oh Stokey. You probably think this is true as well.

It’s not unusual for members of Congress to be millionaires. But is Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., one of them?
A March 23 Facebook post shows a photo of Ocasio-Cortez with the text: "A broke bartender elected to Congress almost 6 years ago with a salary of $155,000 a year is now worth $29 million dollars … but the FBI is kicking in Donald Trump’s door..?"
The post was flagged as part of Facebook’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Facebook.)
This is not the first time Ocasio-Cortez has been accused of being a millionaire. In 2021, we rated Pants on Fire a claim that she was worth more than $1 million. This latest version of the claim is no truer.
Members of Congress are required to file financial disclosures that list ranges, rather than specific amounts, of their assets, liabilities and income sources beyond their congressional salary.
Ocasio-Cortez’s latest financial disclosure report, filed Sept. 12, 2022, showed assets amounting to $4,004 to $60,000. It listed four assets — one savings account, one checking account, one brokerage account and a 401(k) plan. Each asset ranges from $1,000 to $15,000.
Fact check: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's net worth is not close to $1 million
Democratic U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York reported having $60,000 at most in bank accounts and other savings and as much as $50,000 in student loan debt in her 2023 financial disclosure report. But social media posts baselessly claim that since becoming a member of Congress, she is “a verified multi-millionaire.”
AOC Is Worth $200,000
She earns at least $174,000 per year for her Congressional salary and has a net worth of $200,000, according to Celebrity Net Worth.
She’s not rich, but she didn’t rely on smoke and mirrors to inflate her stature or campaign. Leaning into what some would have called her Achilles heel — her age and apparent lack of wealth — scored Ocasio-Cortez major likability points from her base that ultimately elected her.
Ocasio-Cortez found a seat at the congressional table despite the fact that the median net worth of U.S. Congress members is over $1.1 million as of 2015, with a cumulative wealth of at least $2.43 billion. The self-described democratic socialist caught heat shortly after her election when the media learned she had less than $7,000 in her bank account. Instead of shying away from her account balance, Ocasio-Cortez doubled down to tweet that she was newly insured and had recently purchased her first couch.
I'm supporting third party candidates. You're supporting the Democrats.
