I explained in my post you cropped. But it is worded poorly.
She was an existing witness with Greenberg, as she was one of the people being trafficked. Now they have a paper trail connecting her to Gaetz.

This isn't an unusual or uncommon outcome.

Everything I've read points to the ethics committee interviewing the very same witnesses the DOJ interviewed. Can you provide any proof for your claim that "new witnesses have come forward" and were interviewed by the ethics committee but not by the DOJ?

Guilty until proven innocent isn't a very solid position.

I can't really. No names are being released.

But the ex-girlfriend could be considered a 'new witness', in that she was uncooperative, but now has an immunity deal.

I can't state all the people who were interviewed by the DOJ, as they didn't press any charges and refuse to release information as it can be damaging to the suspect.
The DOJ also refused to share any of their findings with the Ethics investigation until a subpoena forced them to share a small amount.

I don't think the DOJ position is unreasonable to refuse to share information from investigations where they did not move forward. As it can be incredibly damaging due to the ease that misinformation is spread.


I will be more careful with my language on this topic. To avoid this kind of issue.

Gaetz himself has admitted to the paper trails.

That's fair. I don't like Gaetz, so I'm predisposed to accepting negative information about him.

But that's why I've spent time looking into this entire situation. So that I'm more able to offset my biases.

If Gaetz has done nothing wrong, why did he refuse to cooperate with the DOJ or the Ethics investigation?
If Gaetz has done nothing wrong, why did he file a lawsuit to the Fed Court trying to block the release of the investigation?

Both your statement and mine, are meaningless.
It's insinuations and 'just asking questions'. It's done to avoid engaging with facts and available information.

If Gaetz is investigated and still not charged or found guilty. I'll still believe he's guilty, but that doesn't mean that he is.

Regarding the 17-year-old girl, the report said there was no evidence Gaetz knew she was a minor when he had sex with her. The woman told the committee she did not tell Gaetz she was under 18 at the time and that he learned she was a minor more than a month after the party.​

Florida law says it is a felony for a person 24 or older to have sex with a minor. The law does not allow a claim of ignorance or misrepresentation of a minor’s age as a defense.​
