What I'd like to hear from a single person who keeps defending Gaetz, and stating that the DOJ was weaponised against him, is this:

You're missing a few key components in your fairy tale.

It was Biden's DOJ that ran the Russia collusion hoax that hindered Trump in his first term while he was defending groundless impeachments. It was also Biden's DOJ that interfered in the 2020 election by lying to social media companies about Hunter's laptop, telling them it was Russian disinformation and ordering them to censor people talking about it.

It’s impressive how smart Biden is. Managed to capture and control the DoJ and fraudulently win an election all in his late 70s.
