145000 of those in the Ukraine/Russia war with most weaponry supplied by Biden
Yes, its an issue. Caused by Putin.

Letting Russia just roll over Ukraine and erase their national identity was an option I guess, not a great one though. Certainly the Ukrainians didn't want to go that way and asked for help.

If you asked them "Is kicking a puppy a bad thing?", they would need to know who did it, before being able to give their answer.

They might ask for more context, that's fair.
"They were upset the puppy was being too loud and waking their baby, so they kicked it".
They still can't just give an answer, until they know WHO did it.
Because that's how they work out if something is 'good' or 'bad'.

Joe may not have understood the situation over there clearly.

Kamala explained it thus: “So Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So basically that’s wrong”

With those 2 rocket scientists at the helm I’m not surprised the place is in a mess.

Doubt it.

First, the war should never have happened. Biden was given a golden opportunity to prevent war in the autumn of 2021. Almost a year into the war, then-NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg admitted that almost six months before the outbreak of war, Putin privately sent a proposed treaty to NATO that would have declared neutrality for Ukraine by vowing not to expand NATO further.
Most charitable interpretation here is Putin trying to interfere with a sovereign nation's autonomy (NATO membership had majority support in Ukraine). Least charitable is he's saying don't do this thing that will make it impossible for me to invade, or else I'll invade. And I don't think he deserves much charity lol.

Regarding hypothetical NATO membership for Ukraine, it is vital for every American to understand the truth: Ukraine was never going to be invited by the Alliance. They were the most corrupt country in Europe at the time. They had an active civil war that had been simmering for eight years, with no resolution in site. There was considerable enmity between Ukraine and Russia that would keep relations unstable and volatile for the foreseeable future.
This would seem to confirm Russia's supposed main rationale for invasion as a complete furphy, a convenient casus belli to do what they were always going to do at some stage anyway. They'd already gotten started with Crimea.

And as for the "golden opportunities" for peace through diplomacy in the early days of the war;


Call me crazy but Vlad "traditional Russian lands" Putin has never seemed all that enthusiastic about anything over than carving himself another slice of Ukraine, preferably all of it. All America has done is respond to Ukraine's request for help ¯\(ツ)

You can argue Ukraine could have played it smarter, but pretty easy from the cheap seats. Its their country under threat not ours.

Oil prices fell while he was up there. Basically told the oil nations lower your prices or find out.
Covid actually dropped Oil prices around the world due to less usage,
Driving and Plane travel spring to mind.
Actually Trump urged for the price to go up as his rich oil pal's lost money.

How do you carry out an Insurrection against yourself?

It's always the Russians fault for everything..

Id say the guy who refused to negotiate a peace deal and supplied weapons based on that probably deserves a bit of the blame
