Vacant guernsey numbers

With the delisting as of Cumberland & Coulthard, the list of vacant numbers is at a level I have never seen before.

2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 16, 17, 24, 26, 29, 34, 38, 50.

Not sure many of the boys in high numbers have earned a lower number. Possibly Campbell & Le Flau. I’m sure a few will be rewarded though.

That’s will be the most interesting thing moving forward

Especially since some of the numbers that are now free are some of the most significant traditionally from a club standpoint and some of our recent history

2: dyls choice
4: has to be earned by someone really special
6: griggas choice?
7: give it to one of the young lads who played regularly last year and showed a lot of promise. Could be Bauer, Green, Campbell.
8, 12: these numbers are reserved for outstanding and loyal power forwards. Lefau could be one of them. So could fawcett. Or we could draft one.
9: cotchs choice
11: pretty open imo
16: allocate it to someone
17: Moz has first refusal, if he picks 17 he can choose who gets 10. Otherwise reserved for captain or another Rioli
24: my favourite number apart from 5. Give it to my favourite player (cumbo is gone though so I don’t know)
26: give it to the player most like nahas
27: please become vacant
29: kbs choice. If kb doesn’t want to nominate then Rhett can. Otherwise give it to a gun high pick or reserve for someone special.
