Vaccines work.

Since there are 5 kids in your school alone, and there are over 900,000 school students in Victoria (2000+ schools) - and a toal of 1600 cases of chicken pox per year (that's 2018 figure - 2019 is trending lower) - that's a pretty serious disease cluster which I am sure the government health units would be monitoring. 5 kids in one year at one school is an extreme outlier.

I would say it's more likely that either:

Misdiagnosis through ignorance - 'I don't need to see the doctor - I can tell if my kid has chicken pox'
Misdiagnosis through group panic - 'Billy's mum said he had Chicken pox - now Johnny's looking a bit crook - he's probably got it too'. (Chicken Pox is a notifiable disease in Australia, so if it was diagnosed by a qualified medical professional, it would have been reported).

Anti-Vax cluster - a group of parents have got together and decided that vaccines are bad, and so have not done it.

The school has the immunisation history of every kid, part of enrolment.

I’m seeing the principal tomorrow anyway so will ask him what the go is.

Principal told us that they’ve only recently added chicken pox booster to year 7 shots, to strengthen the immunity. So he’s more concerned those in year 10,11,12 are gonna catch it as they only had the initial vaccine at a younger age. 7,8,9 should be more immune.

Didn’t know why the current year 7s are getting it, it contradicts what he’s saying really.

Anyway, not that interesting really, the crux of it is that chicken pox is a tough bugger that they’ve decided now needs an extra booster, like other diseases.

...even if the booster doesn’t seem to work!😛

5 kids at my sons school have come down with chicken pox.

All of them had been vaccinated at 18 months.

Apparently vaccines don’t always work?
I think 95-98% efficacy is around the mark.
With a school of 1000 kids I guess all it would take would be one child to be in right place.
Still it does seem like a lot.

Chicken pox Vaccine isn't really for kids if truth be told- its for adults.
My son caught it before he was old enough for the vaccine and it didn't affect him much but I caught it as an adult and it ****ed me.

Vaccins are harmful to some people, ill never take one.
Our kids reacted to Vaccines and the side effects were bad.
We saw countless specialists etc... was a very stressful time.

The Au$stralian Govt ha$ your be$t health intere$t at heart when it come$ to vaccination. We know our Government i$ not corrupt so I have full tru$t in our government to take care of me. The media and the government will never lie to me.
here is someone with sense, be careful cause here at BF forms the keyboard experts will try to beat you down with insults (because they really have no Idea on the subject matter), then if you stand your ground some moderators (not all) may ban you (from the thread) without warning, edit, *Note, this is on political forums where we have BIAS.* that's par for the course here.

i'm not anti-vac, i'm anti-NWO

Are they making a NWO by ensuring public health? I'm confused here? Is the real agenda to kill off all the anti vaxxers so that the healthy ones remaining can be made into slaves for the elite to use for game hunting?

who is 'they'? i guess you mean USA primarily. the NWO is already an ongoing thing. "ensuring public health" isn't really their aim. the heavy focus on vaccines and the anti-vaccinator propaganda has people picking either side and having it out when the problem is the restrictions being put in place by people who aren't on either side but above.

Are you referring to things like requiring certain vaccines to certain diseases when going to certain countries?

Cause damn, I dont want to die from preventable diseases just to show these NWO clowns that Im not scared of their big bad agenda?

Sure, dismiss my comment all you want but it makes logical sense to protect yourself from dangerous diseases before you go somewhere. Labeling it as some sort of global agenda to control us all is naïve at best and fearmongering at worse.

all you had to do was click the links and have a read and you wouldn't have typed that lol. i am not labelling anything just posting links for you to educate yourself

Don’t be surprised if the vaccine reduces the fertility rate by 85% just like in one of Dan browns novel. In his novel, the water supply would reduce fertility so that humanity could survive. The side effect of the virus and the subsequent est-ce effect of the vaccine would be to reduce fertility of the people receiving it and then people ****, the cure is spread further.

That would be one way of fixing overpopulation I guess but how something like that could be kept quiet among all the scientists working on the vaccines is beyond me.

we need to reduce the world population by half and no, we don’t have the infinity gauntlet.

If that was something that was done via vaccines, it'd be easy to keep it quiet until it was too late. Link the lack of births to other diseases and such.

Fertility rates are falling dramatically in developed countries anyway. The rest of the world will follow as contraception becomes more readily available and women enter the workforce, choosing to bear fewer children. That might not happen as fast as it probably could but a plot to vaccinate the masses in to infertility wouldn't get past the thousands of scientists across the world who are working on it.

I think the worst thing that might happen is that poorer countries will end up as the recipients of the vaccines a lot of us won't touch and that might be the one getting most of the bad press, Astrazeneca. A lot of people I know who should have had the shot, have been scared off.
