Happy to accept fwiwFWIW new vafa president creating a big footy account and the Herald Sun doing a write up on Div1-Div4 recruits, what other nuggets does 2024 have in store? Bedford as the new mod?

Punishes their opponents too though, two of whom will need the finals tune up
If that happens all clubs should refuse to play themWord out of HQ - Suspended fine to Kew and a small fine to Aitken <$1k.
Should be uproar from other clubs in the division.

I'm truly flabbergasted by the cowardice of the VAFA to deal with this appropriately. To me, that video footage is damning: the different jumpers, the bibs, the cones, not to mention the coach with a whistle abusing the gentlemen filming. Surely that footage itself is enough to suspend someone?
How can the VAFA allow a coach of a club to conduct themselves in that way is disgraceful...!!
I was fully expecting Kew to not even play on the weekend as a punishment, instead their coach and players entered the field and played with no punishment. Speechless, appalled, and truly disappointed.
MassiveSeems a fraction heavy handed by headquarters. But nice to now move on and enjoy the football.

I just re-read Connell’s editorial from last weekend, where he states
“I know there will be people scoffing at this suggestion, but as we have seen recently, we ALL need to follow the state government orders so as to get back to ‘normal’ quicker – so please, do the right thing.”
If all that comes from an incident:
* reported in the Herald Sun
* reported on Channel 9
* involving a clearly identifiable VAFA coach
* running a rogue training session in flagrant breach of CHO orders
is a modest fine - that’s an absolute disgrace and he should be embarrassed.
It's a pretty serious issue. I have friends that have had to close businesses as a result of these lockdowns. Glad to see you manage to get some tongue in cheek sarcasm out of blatant breaches of government health orders though.
Your consideration for the welfare of others is something to behold.
Drip.
How come that’s ironic Maxy?Yes, its going to be tough for us.
Based on the missing 3 games.
Statistically OI probably missed out on the most. Given they were to play Preston twice, the lost percentage is probably where OI have missed out.
Ironically, Monash have missed playing OI and OG's in those 3 games.
Max "fingers crossed" Leader
One, i put it in the wrong thread and secondly, i had a word of the day calander stating that Ironic was the word i needed to use.How come that’s ironic Maxy?
Nothing to do with Dan champAnother side who can say thanks to Dan and the delta strain are the boys out at Toorak Park. Prahran won’t play either Kew or Whitefriars until finals. Talk about lucky
I'd be surprised if that happensI am tipping there will be NO promotion/relegation this year.
