Yes. But also both being new coaches who both got sacked around the same period of time didn't help. Nor did the fact that they both coached red and black teams.

I get that because I couldnāt really give a rats ass who coaches the other teams. The media have a job to do and thatās to know who the guy in the box is for each team and the one doing the talking to them after the games. It would be like a chef not knowing which knife was for which task or the difference between slicing and cubing.
I remember one commentator calling Walters something along the lines of Sonny Bill Williams in a game not too long ago. That was great.

Thatās actually class. If youāre not sure of the name why not crack out a nickname. Better than getting it completely wrong. Thatās what I do in social situations where Iāve forgotten someoneās name but I know who they are, what they do, fun facts etc so Iāll chuck a nickname in there

I'd put my house on Carlton if it was over there, where Carlton suddenly play like their 95 premiership team every time we show up, but surely we should be able to get the job done at home.

As a general rule, unless I think we're a 100% certainty, I always tip the opposition. Just a bit of emotional hedging of my bets.
Ever since the North loss I think I've only tipped us twice - GC and Hawthorn.

Our form this year just shows how influential Mundy was IMO. Lobb has easily been replaced by Amiss in terms of scoring, Acres loss we've been able to cover for. But Mundy even in his last game was winning clearances and there's the obvious leadership we've lost from him. Bloody champion. One step backward this year, hopefully two steps forward next. Get as many games into Johnson and Ras this year IMO, even if it means missing finals, set us up for the future. We're not winning a flag this year...

True. But towards the end you could of seen his impact was less and there were times that the mids were getting smashed, especially noticeably 3rd quarters. They did manage to wrestle it back at times.
If Mundy went for another year it would of been bad, as his performance would of perhaps deteriorated then you would have those calling his clogging up the space for Ras and MJ..would not been good ending for him. Think if Brodie can get back to his best he can play a somewhat similar role. Obviously his kicking is not as elite
