I’m actually happy seeing Hogan playing good football. He’s obviously someone who’s had some adversity & suffers from mental demons.
I was really disappointed when we let him go after leaving him in the WAFL when he finally got fit.
It always seemed to me like he was worth persisting with but who knows what was happening internally at the club & whether he could have settled properly here with all the distractions he seemed to have around being in Perth & the merciless attention of the Eagles media propaganda and their treatment of any of our players versus the coverups they do for their own. Still think it’s hilarious “free Willy” left after they put so much work into rehabilitation of his reputation.

I’m getting angrier all the time thinking about Henry. We’ve got such a dedicated young group & he was really contributing nicely in the wing role & now we have to start from scratch again building our wings. So crucial to our system & we just keep losing good players in that role.
**** Henry. He was never in it for developing for the club. He was playing good football to get a contract in Victoria. He was developing nicely for his asking price.
Bell should’ve been wise to this, and traded him last season when there was talk. Shouldve just ****ed him off then for even talking about it behind closed doors.
He should’ve developed for Peel all season. Coaches panicked and tried to play him to keep him. Would’ve liked Worner develop in that spot

Agree with a little, but disagree with most of this. Worner!!! C’mon man! He gets manhandled in the wafl and isn’t fast enough. Bell extended him to 2025 is another Crazy Belly moment.

This is captain hindsight stuff.

I don’t think you’ve watched Worner much, he wins a disproportionate amount of one on one’s in the WAFL. He had offers of a contract from over east.

Watch him play well tomorrow against Subiaco.

Hogan and Acres have never bad mouthed the club before, I don't see any reason to give them grief. Cerra having a sook and going home is worth a vent though, Cerra and Neale are the only valid ones worth venting about still in finals.
Hogans fine but Cerra's a sook? Seriously wtf is wrong with this board these days?

Hogan can get f***ed. At least Cerra tried to make it work, signed another contract and chose a team with a top 10 pick. Hogan was an immature, unprofessional, unappreciative, useless f***ing drop kick.

How on earth is Hogan the victim now?!

Hogan isn't a victim but there's definitely a lack of empathy and being over dramatic about his time here. at the end of the day, moving back to Perth with his demons and being around people that would enable him wasn't the right call, having the media breathing down his neck would have made it even worse. Dude's a human being, we **** up sometimes. Did the trade work out? No, am I ever going to hold anger, contempt or hatred towards the bloke for it though? No because that's ****ing moronic, not everything works out, I'm personally glad that he seems to have sorted himself out (he could still be getting on the piss every weekend for all we know) and I'd love to see him get a flag this year.

I thought Worner played well today. Certainly wasn’t out bodied at all, in fact took not only intercept marks but won some one on one contested marks. Sliced through the middle off a turnover and almost kicked goal of day from distance into the breeze. Had a very good game and I wouldn’t write him off yet. Let’s see what another pre-season can do for him.

No idea why you dislike Cerra so much. The guy was as professional as they come, stayed 4 years here and probably would have signed for longer only for covid, and made sure he chose a team where we could get amiss in return.
He’s a model pro and come across as a really decent fella off the field too.
