Mate on the last 2 weekends form, if we played WCE in the wet we'd lose at this rate.


A dry weather gameplan in the wet.. Honestly.
Even after half-time when it appeared the ball was able to be kicked & marked more cleanly (by Collingwood anyway..) Freo still looked like they were playing footy in a monsoon. Making everything & anything look extremely difficult.

Well.. At least the club would've cleaned up selling memberships the last 6 weeks prior to the GC game. :rolleyes:
 
Well this thread was just finding its level and we had to go and beat the reigning premiers at their home ground.

He's a handy sub. He's performed well as a sub and the players for Peel in Eurasmus and ? are probably better off getting full wafl games in to help their development. Johnson ditto

Banfield isn't best 22 imo but he does the sub role well. A few 1 per cent plays that intercepted the ball abd helped rebound off the half back and through the middle plus a few hard ball get handballs to another player who either linked in the chain for a goal or directly passed it off to the goal kicker.

It has been a bloody difficult role for Banfield to play in and out of the team regularly. I also don’t necessarily want him in the team but he has played a difficult role as well as his talent allows. I believe he is on 49 games when he plays next it will be the hardest earned 50 games by a Freo player. Good on him. I genuinely believe he could have done the role that Aish played yesterday, that is his natural position, I have no idea why he is in the forward line.

Justin has some selection headaches especially if Fyfe comes back. I'd be dropping Tucker for him and someone needs to go for Switta

Back to this: I don’t watch any footy show at all. Used to a lot years ago. But not now. Just can’t be bothered, because it’s overload and largely irrelevant. Game day is all that matters.

Tis a good point, it's REALLY hard. I figure it would mostly likely be Logue (monstrously unlucky..) and Switta comes into his place in the forward line and maybe we send Fyfe up there to play the "Logue roll" (??) depending on the situation/s. Walker also seems to be the one most likely to have the rug pulled from under him which is also unfair (and will send everyone into delirium), but those 2 seem the most likely candidates given the way things have gone....team balancing and all dat. Fyfe for Tucker is the most obvious for mine

What’s with all the ducks all of a sudden? I’m sick of reading duck in place of f*** and it just takes the sting out of the commentary as it’s intended by the author and makes my eyes bleed

I know we need to try and keep it clean but the emphasis is sometimes needed and a duck instead of a well placed f*** just doesn’t cut it and looks stupid and frankly gives me the shits more than the combined Bennel/Hogan/Croad trade outcomes

This is a weird slant on pc because everyone knows what is being said and I don’t think a majority of us on here are that precious to get offended when someone gets excited
