I can't believe the club couldn't keep him on as a medi sub next year.

I realise this is the vent thread but maybe Dave didn't want this?

This club of ours is a stress indused mind **ck.
No win is ever easy , 5 goals in front with 10 minutes to go and its still panic in the dacks time. We have grown to accept that .
Now 13 and a half wins with three rounds to go and where we should be cruising in happy clapper land 12 wins which has been enough to make finals for bloody ever suddenly turns out its not and now its crap your dacks time for the next 3 rounds.
This club never gives you a break. Be still my panicked heart.

It is quintessential Freo that our form fades away at 12.5 wins the year where you probably need 13 to be absolutely guaranteed.

Luckily the remaining games are winnable enough even if we're not at our 100% best.

This is another massive own goal.

Pushing the best clearance player at the club into retirement on the back of 35 possies, 10 clearances and 5 score involvements against the most dominant starting quartet in the game.

But let's push the button because Erasmus got some of the pill vs some part time mids from East Perth - blow me down with a feather....

We have all got used to accepting the let downs with Freo,What was working earlier in the year has been ripped apart since the bye.JLo is the one responsible for this drop off ,That was one of the hardest games to watch i can remember. Prime time Friday night and on show for everyone to see how good we are or more to the point aren't .Pitiful game plan and not willing to change something that is not working .I hope we are not saying the same thing this time next year .Time to raise the bar.

The slipping and sliding and anxiety of the players in the 1st quarter was horrible to watch as a supporter, though will galvanize this group in a beleif that they can match it with the best of the best..

I am one that doesn't rate Brodie as an A grader. He may be a steal and amazing in his output for someone who was close to the scrapheap, but I am glad we have Erasmus coming though, with some possibility Fyfe may return at least to 90% of his former self for seasons 2023 and 24.

Brodie started the year amazingly well but has really dropped off since mid year. Because he came with Suns level fitness and he's really only done one proper preseason, he's like a first year player as a 24 year old.
He's a lot closer to being dropped than most of our team for mine

Don’t worry
I was one of the ones with their head in their hands wondering if I was having a bad dream .

I did the honourable thing and went and got food and beer just before Sonny lined up for the first goal .

Noting the success of my strategic move I stayed away for the next 2 goals

My theory is that the players started seeing people leaving so pulled their collective fingers out

Oh yeah he's never gunna be Darren Jarman, but his clearance work is going to be Fyfe level.

Came home from footy training to watch The Front Bar, watch 2 minutes they switch to a running commentary on the Queens health. With all due respect I understand the importance of her standing in the world & it is very sad, but then my nanna died at 95 & there was no tv coverage. Secondly couldn’t they put it on 7mate?
