I don't agree with your assessment of why O'Meara left and furthermore, from here it looks like Cochrane is one of the best things to happen to this club since inception. Certainly more comfortable with him at the helm than this guy:

I'm not too bothered by the fact that so many people have taken offence at his assertion that Hawthorn needed to pay up or that he cost us a second rounder (IF you believe what Hawthorn posters are saying is true regarding the veto of particular deals) considering the wider circumstances.

In the grand scheme of things, neither makes much difference. People will move on, and in 12 months time I doubt anyone will give it much thought, except of course, for some Hawks fans.

He moved because his girlfriend is from Melbourne and she wouldn't move. Further her family has close ties with Hawthorn. He also is into the Cafe fashion culture big time.
Have you heard of the concept of knowledge of facts around an issue before you make comment.
