As well as seeing my Bay brethren flog this joint up, i have read the past few pages. I dont see the big deal with the trade. Good on GC for digging their heels in.

To be paid a few hundred grand to be fit and live in sunny QLD would be a dream. Maybe the club needs to introduce the younger boys to some nice young local blonde law/medicine student girls to get them over their 'homesickness' Besides you guys play what 7-8 times in Melbourne anyway. Thats enough catching up time with mum and dad. Plus there is a thing called skype.

Whatever happened to that thread that had some guy claiming JOM to Hawthorn based off of his girlfriends real estate purchases or something?
This was way earlier in the year I think, good read

we had a dangerfield to suns based off mardi's supposed job offer and real estate purchase last year. :D

haven't seen any similar thread for jaeger here tho haha.

interestingly there is another take and that is there WERE some Hawks players interested in coming here for better dough and longer contracts but Hawks would not let them go

If that's true then a player like Breust is a free agent next year and we can have a crack at him then and Hawks would be happy to get a decent compensation pick given their lack of draft picks for 2017.

I'm sure the Coch would be happy to take a good player off the Hawks for nothing next year
