Something was wrong with the culture, coaching and medical staff. These blokes have been there for a while now and maybe the scars of the early days are too much.
Prestia is leaving for family - he chose Richmond so that must be the case + the $$$ helps
O'Meara - number of factors he may want to leave - dirty on medical staff RE his knee, bad culture, girlfriend located in Melbourne, wants to be a celebrity in Melbourne footy culture
I think once these guys go and clean up some more more of the guys under the previous regime we can fully move on with a clean slate that understand Rocket's culture going forward

I'm with you on that one. Prestia is a quality consistent midfielder, similar to a Cotchin, A.Swallow, S.Thompson
Jaeger will win games by himself, like a Gaz or Fyfe
Wonder if they might be loading up for some serious off-season moves. The Fyfe talk is seemingly the one people currently go to, but given this news they'd have plenty to offer one David Swallow.

I absolutely agree. They have basically just delisted the games record holder, along with a 300+ game one club player (who lets be honest probably should retire at the end of the year anyway though), and another 200+ game player (in the same boat as Petrie). Boomer still looks like he could go on for another year or 2, but to not even be given the option is horrible. Surely he won't get picked up by another team though.

This is completely off-topic but sitting with the family tonight at home outside in the entertainment area, having a few beers, and then having your evening disrupted by the biggest mother-f........scorpion I've ever seen, and we've had a few here, was to say the least, adrenalin pumping. But once the blood pressure receded to something like normal and the kids had bolted inside, my wife and I made sure it became an ex-scorpion.
it sort of reminded me about what's important in life.....and who goes where in the AFL certainly isn't.......
Just one of the many joys of living in rural Thailand.......
