Yeah looks like they'll have to get past both Sydney and possibly GWS. The tall targets of those clubs inattack and the hard runners will make it hard for them. It's the umpires assistance that annoys the **** out of me. How can they be allowed to continually shepherd the man on the mark, when if another club tries it they get pinged? Puzzling.
 
Be interesting to see what happens with tonight's rising star nomination. Selectors have backed themselves into a corner - Fiorini was easily the best performance of the round but they haven't got around to nominating Alir Alir (choosing instead to nominate Dunkley, OMcDonald and Rioli the last 2 weeks) who I think would finish top 7 in the award if nominated.

Barrass was also very good. Hopefully fiorini doesnt get nominated and takes it out next year

Because Barass was better! I know that is unpopular opinion on here but Barass was almost perfect against the most potent fwd line in the league... whether he was spoiling ruckman going back with the fight, intercept marking, or setting up play with near faultless disposal.. he was scary good... what we can be sure of is that Fiorini probably had the best career second game of anyone this season... but I'm sorry, I can't agree he was better than Barass..

Been a good crop this year... the all aust under 22's or whatever it is, is going to be a scorching hot team..
