Shares can be as little or as much as you want to spend. I've bought in on a few now. Generally low cost. Lease shares make it cheap to get in to, then the actual owner takes a percentage of the winnings as their payment for the share. Training fees once in for 5% is between $150-200 per month. some trainers even offer free shares just as long as you pay the training fees. Bloodstock.con.au is one place that many horses get advertised either as a whole or on a share basis. Otherwise speak to any trainer they'll be able to point you in the right direction.hey where do you go for such a thing? how much can a share set you back?
Edit: this one is on a lease I paid $500 for a 5% 2 season share.
