Just like the players and coach, I'm taking the soft option and not attending another game this year. I'm over it and can do more productive things with my time than spending more money and wasting further time to witness a gutless, weak and heartless team that represents this club.

They should all be ashamed of themselves.

If there are less than 4 changes for the Freo game then the Coach can GAGF.

I am not potting Spitter because I don't think his standard is good enough, I don't think he is physically okay to play after almost breaking his leg against the Dogs. I've seen people condemned to wheelchairs for the rest of their life move with more grace.

I rather he be rested until he is 100% then play like he is atm.

I acknowledge that every footballer, when they put their hand up to play, can make no excuses. You're considered to be okay.

But, he busted a gut all night. First hands on the footy for a majority of the night, and worked hard to multiple contests. It wasn't his night, but he had no support. I can't cop people potting him tonight, after they look at the stat sheet. His work-rate and willingness to compete was there.

I enjoyed as a kid the Barrassi/Blight era which made me a North supporter/member ever since. The Pagan/Carey era was even better. The 1999 premiership feels now like a long time ago now after that shit tonight. Will Boomer become a dual premiership player from 2 different eras? Will I see another era and premiership in my lifetime from the North Melbourne football club?

I dont get to see the VFL but hasn't he been playing well in the 2nds? Jacobs I see has been getting goo numbers but he looked lost in the 1's. Gys might do well but would he really give us anything more than Sira? Sira got thrown in the deep end tonight. It wasn't a game for a sub as it wasn't running that was an issue. It was speed. We just look slow.

As bad as Daw was in his last game I think it might have been a mistake to leave him out. He could have used his leap to thump a lot of ball ups clear of the congestion. It was one of the tall defenders we need to drop.

He has been okay.

Sirra is predominately an outside runner that can usually hit a target.

I have no idea what he is doing in a North Queensland downpour, and I would pick a good dozen players to play ahead of him in such conditions.

wet weather footy you need guys that can run from contest to contest. You cant run to where you think the ball will go next as someone is likely to fumble and the ball will get held up. We needed runners. Levi would have been ideal but Sira should have helped. Shouldn't have been sub, should have been a tall once we saw the weather. Not that I'm telling you something you dont know!

No. We got beat by Gold Coast. We haven't beaten anyone all season. Finals let alone a premiership are much further away than the talk.

You need blokes with heart, endeavor, sure handling skills and a direct K.I.S.S. aproach.

What are the club prepared to do to improve our list ? Wholesale changes of the coaching department ? Going all out during the FA period ? Keep pushing the youth line via the draft ? ( youth is one thing we have plenty of imo ) Trade Aggressively to get players in who thrive under pressure ? Is it a matter of the players being too comfortable with the way their career is going and not willing to do the hard yards to achieve the ultimate goal ? Do we swing the axe for the rest of the year to prove a point to the playing group that nobody is safe ? Firrito , Adams , Wright , Macmillan have all been pretty poor this year . Im all for getting a quality outside line breaking midfielder during the FA period ... But are there any available ? If we head down the trade path I think this is probably as bad a year as there is to try . Unless we finish bottom 4 there is next to zero chance we will get the Duke for a 2nd rd pick but even if we did I wouldn't be trading a top 4 pick for anything but an established superstar who has 5 + years left in him . The prospect of getting Kelly & McDonald is almost too good to be true . This leaves the idea of trading out some quality in order to get quality on a more of a needs basis . So out of our playing group would you trade ? I think somebody like Bastinac may be dangled at trade week as we have an ubundance of midfielders who we are going to struggle to squeeze in the same side come next year . Not to mention untried players who will most certainly get a crack at it very soon such as Mckenzie , Garner , Wood and also Harper and Ziebell to come back .... Interesting times ahead .

Someone tell me, as a uni student struggling to put money together to pay rent, why on earth should i continue to go without to support this club after performances like that. I give up going out for tea, spending days with my mates etc to make sure this club does not fold. And the players continue time after time to play for their pay check and not the jumper.

I've always said I can handle losing, however I cant handle gutless displays, that passage of play when a GC player broke through the middle in the last quarter and JMac just stuck a lazy arm out and didn't go in for the tackle was enough for me, changed channel immediately, none of us should accept it, and that was one of many times when we simply weren't hard enough and chickened out.

Aside from being a bunch of chickens, I found it alarming how many simple chest marks we dropped, yes even in those conditions, they were so much more cleaner and we fumbled non stop.

Tactically a complete mess, one of Brad's worst nights imo.
