The hotel quarantine enquiry wasn't probing the federal government, it was probing the Victorian government, and specifically who was responsible for the decision to hire incompetent private security. Everyone knows it was Andrews who did, who also turned down assistance from the Federal Government, but useful idiots like yourself will always look to twist the narrative.

Victoria wasn't prepared for a quarantine - because they were never meant to be in charge of a quarantine. The federal government has wiped their hands clean of a problem they created. It is Scomo's responsibility and he is doing everything to ignore it

Any leak from hotel quarantine is ultimately at the feet of the federal government.

States insisted on it, feds have no health facilities or staff, states were scared of their powers being taken over and sidelined. Dan even rejected assistance from the army and hired dodgy security firms at a moment's notice. Feds have no constitutional power to overrule them. Any attempt to do so, even in a pandemic, would have seen the country slide into uncharted territory.
