Camberwell Magpies
North Melbourne
Frankston Peninsula
Northcote

These sides are also pretty ordinary. Carlton and Dandenong will continue to push.

I still don't fully understand how this system works, and even why they implemented it. They call the old system stale, but that's because certain top clubs had access to better facilities, better playing groups. A lot of the outer suburbs clubs lost a lot of good players due to the time committment and the lure of dollars at another club.

Perhaps the VCA needed to look at those objectives before they start to play around with the structure. I found the system fine. Was never bored/stale and had the opportunity to play against all sides and players from Victoria.

I would say that it would all follow the 1st XI, as otherwise ground availability would become very hard to co-ordinate.

All grades continue to play even though the final rankings for the following year are based on the 1st XI. All games count towards the Club Championship.

Who will that be?

Are there any quality cricketers looking at moving clubs this year and looking at earning good dollars??

If so, please let me know if you are interested.

Our club plays in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association.

Spoljaric (South Melbourne)
Alleyne (W/K) (Nottinghamshire)

Both look likely to be playing with Hawthorn/Monash this season

Interesting. A few people have told me the opposite. We'll have to wait and see.

Other news is i've heard Footscray have signed Andrew McDonald with a small fee of fifteen g.

If that is true that is a disgrace. Should raise that with the Chairman of the penant commitment. Hang on, that is the CM President.
