Vince McMahon steps down from TKO amid allegations

Vince would have done a lot of guys over the journey, most notably HBK and I tend to believe those particular rumors with all that's come out in recent years.
Don’t leave me hanging baby. I want every detail.

There’s a few stories floating about of Vince with the man with the countdown clock who’s had some recent accusations against him so there could be some smoke with that…

There’s been plenty over time of HBK, Hogan, Flair, Bret, Xpac also not so much about Vince but stuff they’ve done or had people do. Whether some are true or not but yeah the 90s was loose as think it was a rolling party every night. You do get the odd person like HHH that doesn’t drink so it was always kind of odd that he fit in with the clique .

The only shock here is that it was so recent.

The fact he tried to come back after showcases his arrogance and lack of remorse. Should have drifted out of the spotlight forever when Steph nad the board turned on him.

He used the Trump tactic. Just deny, show up, pretend it's not a big deal and show no shame. To be fair, it kinda works in American culture now. To keep plowing through a controversy is seen as masculine and tough.

I read through the complaint and felt utter disdain for Vince and Laurinaitis (if it's indeed true, which is incredibly likely).

Bravery is a word tossed around too often, but Janel Grant epitomises the word after standing up for herself (and others) after suffering terribly for so long.

I doubt that he'll get away with it this time, even his vast fortune may not be enough.

I never said it did. I am talking about the unwanted advances toward young and sometimes underage boys, as hinted at by people such as Roddy Piper, Tom Cole etc.

I recommend you read up on some of the subsequent writing about those accusations. Tom Cole in particular was about as unreliable a witness as you can get. Pat was very poorly treated and lumped in with two genuine scumbags.

Pat was no angel, and some of his ribbing was especially on the nose when looked back at now, but there is no evidence he was ever inappropriate with anyone underage.

1. Tom Cole succesfully sued WWE for wrongful termination in the aftermath of the ring boy scandal.
2. Pat Patterson was forced to resign from WWE as a result.
3. Cole signed a statement absolving Patterson under coercion.
4. Cole took his own life when he saw WWE's lionisation of Patterson following his death.
5. Cole was not the only boy who made allegations against Patterson.

But go on and tell me how Patterson was "proven" innocent.

So you revel in being obnoxious? Good to know.

Yes, when morons like yourself are so confident in their incorrect knowledge, I am.

You claimed it, prove it.

I'm not a lawyer pal, not my job.

Not sure what your angle is here anyway, whether you're just blindly supporting WWE despite it's many disgraces, or what your deal is.

Well Cole had said that Pat had groped his backside when he was underage, as well as licking his lips when he looked at boys crotches aged 14-16. I never saw him walk back that accusation? Barry Orton, from memory, also said he touched him on the penis when he was 19.

When multiple people make claims like that you gotta admit there is a bit of smoke there at the very least. Is it all really just coincidence?

This is what sets my alarms off. There was a pattern and I find it too hard to believe all these guys made it up out of thin air.

Anyways, back to McMahon, hopefully this is the end of him. He's been the ultimate Teflon Don for 40 years.

1. Suing WWE does not mean Patterson was one of the responsible parties.

2. Pat resigned because he was publicly named and his position was untenable. Interesting, he made it back, Garvin and Phillips never did.

3. Cole's only accusation was ever that Patterson "squeeze his ass". Inappropriate, yes, but hardly close to the accusations against Garvin and Cole.

4. Cole never left a suicide note. That is pure speculation.

5. I'm not aware of any others?

Now I'm a moron? Why so personal, man? We're talking wrestling on a message board, relax.

Honestly, I feel like I know the story pretty well. WWF is full sh1t people who have done terrible things, but my view is there was never sufficient evidence of his guilt, and I don't think that people should throw out accusations of sexual assault of a minor against someone when there is little hard evidence to support.

Anyway, I have derailed the thread enough. You are clearly worked up so I back off.

You say it like it's a bad thing? That would have been all-time.

Vinny Mac main event cage match vs "Hunter" Hearst Helmsley for the heavyweight championship. Shane Mac as guest referee. Triple H goes for his patented "Pedigree" power-move but Steph Mac grabs the mic and says: "**** you Paul, this is Vinny's baby!!!!!!". Triple H faints in shock. Vince McMahon takes a shit on his chest, walks out of the cage victorious then struts to the locker room holding his daughter/wife's hand with the WWE championship belt wrapped around his waist. Best Wrestlingmania ever.

The script writes itself.
