Hutchings kept a guy who’d never been below 18 disposals in his career, and last week had 42 disposals, to just 14...

If Sidey was allowed to get 20+ they probably win that game..

Don't be shocked if Hutchings get's Simmo's five votes. Completely blankets one of the games best.

Shuey BOG and deserves the Normie as that is just the nature of the beast, but Hutchings deserves every single plaudit that goes to him for today (and indeed his evolution into a genuine top line tagger).

How do you even narrow it down to 5?

Sheed probably could've been Norm Smith, Shuey was incredible, Kennedy was critical, Hutchings job was outstanding, McGovern was a beast (even moreso when you factor in the injury), Barrass and Schofield were both incredible, Vardy and Lycett shouldn't be forgotten after I spent the week thinking Grundy was the big danger. Even Darling, whose first half was worse than 2015, willed himself to a heroic 2nd half performance.

5. Sheed - 32 and a goal is great, but 32 and THAT goal is outstanding.

So many HMs, but Vardy and Hutch specifically brought it in a big way.

5. Shuey - 4 qtr effort and stood up as a proper team leader when it mattered most. Definitely inspired everyone out there and well deserved Norm Smith
4. Hutchings - completely stopped sidebottom in his tracks after coming off 41 disposals last week. Hutchings actually ended up on more disposals than his opponent and kicked a goal ! The stats don't give this man enough credit.
3. Barrass - played so incredibly well as did Schoey and the Gov. Every time the ball was kicked in Barrass's or his opponenets direction he neutralised it or came out best in the situation. Ended up on 10 marks for the game, only Kennedy took more.
2. Sheed - was an absolute beast all over the ground and kicking that last goal was absolutely unreal. Still has a tendency to bomb the ball long as a first option however think he has finally nailed down his role and consequently spot in the team. Well done
1. Kennedy - tough call for the last spot but Kennedy kicking 3 was so important in a relatively low scoring game. Besides his first miss was just so consistent and is always such a huge presence up forward.
