3. Greenwood - Had to compete as an undersized ruck and was just ferocious in the contest. Stats simply don't tell the tale of his game.
2. Sheezel - No explanation needed
1. LDU - Did LDU things!

Larkey bloody stiff not to get a vote. Genuinely not much separating the 4 of them in terms of influence.

Coaches Award: Chom. 3rd game and was forced to take significant ruck minutes, competed well at the role and still had energy left over to absolutely smash some blokes.

3 - Larkey (maybe not the best, but without him we would have lost for sure)
2 LDU (the best, can’t wait to see a full season from him)
1 Sheezel (best first game I’ve ever seen, not much he can’t do already. Fk Jase, we’ve got the real talent here)

3. LDU
2. Sheezel
1.Larkey

The TNT play(ers) of the day

Hugh Greenwood/ JZ.

JZ not getting enough love around here

1. LDU
2. Greenwood
1. Larkey

Any other week Sheezel, Ziebell and Powell would have gotten votes but LDU was an unstoppable force, Greenwood stopped us from losing and Larkey kicked six on one of the best full backs in the competition, so lift campaigners!

3 LDU
2 Sheezel
1 Greenwood.

Coach's award - Comben

Larkey, Powell, and Logue are all stiff.
Honorable mention to Ziebell. Despite everything I've said about him for about five years, he might not be past it after all. Until injured, Xerri was excellent.
