Boomer, Turtle, and Simmo very close to the votes. But Hale's stellar effort tonight carrying a painful injury would have been such an inspiration to the boys.

Colbert and Thompson... well, what else can you say that hasn't been said.

I'm obviously disappointed in the loss, because it is very likely we could've won if either turtle of petrie had kicked true. But that said, we went toe to toe with the best, and we only just came short. There is some positive to take out of that.

How anyone could give Petrie votes, or even put him in the best is beyond me. Petrie handed at least 3 clearances down the throats of WCE players while allowing Cox to do that numerous other times. He dropped marks, kicked poorly and cracked when the pressure was on. To me that game displayed exactly why Mc Intosh is important to out club.

Positive though was Eddie and also Watson and his tackle.
