I meant league-wide boycotting. That means all 18 fan-bases vote with their feet and their remotes. Nobody goes through the gate and nobody watches it on TV.

Why did Gil push so hard for his mate slimy Simon to be given plush AFL club jobs.
If only someone had come as Lethlean and Kurtley Beale's girlfriend, AFL would have swept it under the carpet.

No wonder there are mental health issues with so many AFL players. Such pressure and scrutiny on the players throughout the season, and then they can't even let their hair down with their mates in a private space. Surely a warning would be more appropriate.

The venue needs to be closed down. Some anonymous complaints about the misuse of CCTV to NSW police should get the ball rolling. Unfortunately there would be job losses but it's important people must stay vigilant in these highly distressing times.
So what did the players actually allegedly do? What was the exact "actions" or "outfit" that's caused such a reaction?

Mate let him vent, he’s prepping for the first winless season in the history of the game.
Unfortunately all contracted players have to follow the AFL code of conduct at these type of events and it’s just too easy to cross the line in this day & age. This article sums up pretty well what went on at this event.
This is idiotic but at least the bar has been outed

In hindsight, choosing a venue in the heart of Swans country was probably a misstep! Pridham probably fired in the complaint.

Sorry for the intrusion, but the AFL are a joke for the sanctions they have applied.
I feel sorry for the players having to deal with this woke crap, when all they were trying to do was have some fun & let off a bit of steam PRIVATELY after a grueling AFL season.

It's pathetic. There shouldn't be any penalties at all.
What I'd like to see in response is a general strike by the rest of the men's competition to coincide with the length of Josh Fahey's suspension.
If something was organised, the AFL would go to water.

I don't know what the scene they are referring to is. But unless that scene is universally considered obscene, or the playing of the scene was universally considered that way, then there is a strong and disgusting irony here.

This is why English Premier League players own pubs and clubs - they can prevent this stuff getting out. AFL just needs that salary cap to expand about 20x more then it will be possible here as well 
I do think it is a shame that things like this get leaked by “do gooders”. There was clear intent to keep it private and all the players went expecting to see things on the offensive side of the comedic spectrum - I don’t think there is any evidence that anyone present took actual offence. It would be like playing Cards Against Humanity and then a newspaper printing the combinations created - it would look truly terrible but the context would be missed.
That said, the tape got leaked and the Jarryd Hayne skit sounds like it was particularly bad. How would the poor women feel who have made complaints be feeling now? How would some parents of girls and women fans be feeling? I’m a man I found it in really poor taste.
And the optics on some of the other skits were also pretty terrible. AFL is a business and they had to act. If it was a corporate environment, the punishments would likely be even stiffer - I suspect some of the leaders would have been sacked (rightly or wrongly). Whether AFL players like it or not, they get paid really well and that comes with higher expectations than your local footy club. Gotta take the bad with the really good.
What I really don’t get is how on earth players still get themselves in trouble at their end of year parties. Cover your damn ass and run the plans by management. It might take some of the fun away, but better that then end up all over the news. Or just go bush and ban phones then do what you please. Just be smarter about it…
