Round 20 didn't prove too difficult with the majority of punters getting three games correct. hansie and swannies bucked the trend to get all four tips correct for the weekend. To add to that hansie also got the bonus point along with Michael_29 with both tippers two points away from the actual margin.

All up, things are a little closer now. freofan_mundy still leads on 58 points but that lead has been cut to just two after hansie scored five points for the round. In third place is swannies on 54 points, thorne89 remains fourth on 53 whilst Military_man and myself have moved up to a tie for fifth place on 51 points.


Round 21 Fixtures

Claremont vs East Fremantle at Claremont Showgrounds (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Perth vs Subiaco at Lathlain Park (Saturday, 2:15pm)
West Perth vs Swan Districts at HBF Arena (Saturday, 2:15pm)
Peel Thunder vs East Perth at Bendigo Bank Stadium (Sunday 11:40am, margin)
Bye: South Fremantle


Into the third last home and away round of the season and again we have some interesting contests. On Saturday Claremont take on East Fremantle at the Shwogrounds, Perth host Subiaco at Lathlain while West Perth and Swan Districts do battle at Joondalup. On Sunday, the two alignment clubs in Peel Thunder and East Perth play each other in a precursor to the derby in the afternoon. That game is also the TV match and begins at 11:40am with the debry on straight after.

Weather is looking great for Saturday and warmer as well while Sunday isn't looking too flash at this stage. Hopefully we can see some good contests over the weekend as the finals get closer. Happy tipping!!

Not much of a round for closeness with only the West Perth vs Swan Districts game offering much of a contest. Most tipsters picked two or three for the round with Peel Thunder costing a lot of tippers a perfect score for Round 21. swannies picked up the bonus point after being the only tipster to select East Perth in their win on Sunday.

freofan_mundy has extended his lead at the top and is leading with 61 points. hansie remains second but is joined by swannies on 58 points with thorne89 a bit further behind on 55. Once again Military_man and myself are tied for fifth place with 54 points overall.


Round 22 Fixtures

Perth vs Peel Thunder at Lathlain Park
South Fremantle vs West Perth at Fremantle Oval
Subiaco vs East Fremantle at Medibank Stadium
Swan Districts vs Claremont at Steel Blue Oval (margin)
Bye: East Perth


Back to a traditional round format this weekend with all games on Saturday at 2:15pm. Swan Districts vs Claremont is the standout game there and since there is no TV game this weekend I've selected that game as the margin match for Round 22. South Fremantle vs West Perth could get interesting while in the other games Perth host Peel Thunder and Subiaco play East Fremantle at Medibank Stadium.

Some pretty rubbish weather at the moment but Saturday afternoon is looking good at this stage with fine conditions expected after a possible morning shower or two. Hopefully we can see a closer round this week with just two rounds left until the finals get underway. Happy tipping!!
