Weak, even for you.

So your position is that the Australian is not blindly and unquestioningly pro-Israel. Even though you can't cite even one story when challenged. And it's a pure coincidence that one of the rags is known colloquially as "The Israelian". Righto, champ. On ya bike.

Remember Jazny spent months denying that junkets were a thing or that they would influence reporting bias.

Is that what the discussion was? This is where you run away because you know the debate was around whether the paid, partially paid, or fully self funded tours of Israel lead to journalists distorting information in favour of Israel. This was a claim none of you ever bothered to try and prove or address. You just spent weeks crying over how self evident it was.

None of you even knew what happened on the press tours, you didn't know how many people on the crikey list fully self funded their own tours, you didn't know similar tours organised by Palestinian groups had taken reporters and MPs on tours of their territories.

Weirdly, you couldn't even find, on that entire list published by Crikey, one example of a journalist that had attended those junkets distorting information if favour of Israel. So weird considering how self evident it's all supposed to be.

I think the settlers should get to safety and leave.

appears to have actually struck Palestinian settlement of Saflfit in West Bank

Also reported attacks on Nazareth - majority population Israeli-Arab.

Does this mean Hamas will declare war on Hezbollah for attacking their people?

Again, if Hezbollah stops firing at Israel, then Israel stops firing at Hezbollah. Hezbollah can’t stop, they must save face, Israel gets blamed for winning 🙄
Gaza shows this not to be true

Israel could just stop committing war crimes and then they won't get blamed for committing war crimes.

Your take on geopolitics is about as deep as saying Nazi Germany were getting blamed for winning.

Israel have struck 1,300 Hezbollah targets in the last 12 to 24 hours. At this point, I don't think Israel is going to stop until they've been crushed.

The pager and walkie-talkie attacks were to demoralise, wound and gather intelligence imo.

1,300 targets ... and some think there wasn't tracking in those devices.

They're all committing crimes.

What Hezbolllah as a non state armed group, has been doing is illegal as well under international law.

I agree. Happy to lump Hezbollah, Hamas and the IDF all in as terrorist organisations.

You might be happy to do that but there are legal distinctions between them.

Israel is not a proscribed terrorist organisation, if what they're doing probably looks like it.

Israel doesn't play by the same rules, daddy America vetoes everything at the UN. Don't think it's reasonable to rely on 'legal distinctions' here when it's quite easily observable that the IDF are committing atrocities and war crimes almost daily and haven't suffered any real repercussions from it.

Plus, if one has to rely on legal rulings to adjudicate their morals, I'd be deeply concerned.

Yep, worth considering that 100+ countries regularly vote against Israel but USA vetoes every vote. It's not International Law but rather US and Israeli 'law'.

We're on the crime board here, where legal distinctions matter as do consequences and how and in what arena accountability can be achieved.

This has squat to do with morals.
