Not to mention the fact that Hamas & Hezbollah have official terrorist organisation classification. It is also important to note that the Arab League also classifies Hezbollah as a terrorist group.
Nobody is denying they are terrorists, it's weird you keep bringing it up.

Yep, worth considering that 100+ countries regularly vote against Israel but USA vetoes every vote. It's not International Law but rather US and Israeli 'law'.

False.

There are plenty of security resolutions that the US does not veto.

Here's a list of some (but no means all) UNSC resolutions against Israel that the US either abstained from or voted for:

It's not being brought up. The discussion is over what and who is legally classified as terrorists. It is significant that the Arab League also classifies Hezbollah as terrorists.

Other posters seem to be happy to go off "the vibe" for their own classification but I myself prefer to stick to factual information.

Not sure it makes Israel's atrocities any less atrocious if they're not 'officially' classified as a terrorist organisation. If you're spending your time doing things like decimating civilian areas with intense bombing campaigns, slaughtering women and children, and detonating mobile devices in uncontrolled and unknown spaces, you're a terrorist organisation. We just deem it different when the military of a nation state is doing it for <reasons>.

Abstain/veto tomato/tomato. Your 8+ year old article is very relevant to current events. Good one!

Yes, there have been plenty of resolutions since that the US has either voted for or abstained from against Israel.

And it is absolutely relevant to your claim that the US always vetos resolutions against Israel. Which is clearly not true.

How many times has Israel been condemned by the UN in the past decade?

Here’s a chart to help you count

The below are the vetoes the US has used since 2016.

The full list is on Wikipedia, you can see where the US is using it's veto power.

The technicalities matter if you want to try and see criminal acts followed through on for accountability.

When you've got the US veto'ing things, lobby groups spending millions to ensure the 'right' politicians are elected, and leaning on foreign countries to withdraw cases or vote the 'right' way. Then you can't simply rely on the criminal system to provide any level of accountability, let alone set your moral compass right.

Not saying you specifically, but there's definitely a number of posters who are clinging on to the 'technicalities' as evidence that what Israel is doing is justified and reasonable.

Yep, as if Israel is ever going to be held accountable for its atrocities when it's got the USA protecting it.

40,000+ slaughtered by Israel in Gaza, now they have started to do the same thing in Lebanon and we all know they will get away with it.
