This is a Knesset member from Likud confirming the plan is being implemented in Gaza. A starvation campaign against civilians, women and children. An act of genocide. Reports are that no food nor a drop of water has been allowed into the besieged north Gaza since Oct 1st.
No, the plan he described is not genocide, but it would be a war crime. It is to reduce aid going in with the intent to motivate the civilian population to evacuate to safety. The idea and intent seems to be to separate civilians from combatants. Genocide would be to stop aid with the intent to kill a significant portion of the people in northern Gaza through starvation.

The plan sucks not only because it's surely a cruel war crime, but also as Hamas have been reported to be shooting at their own civilians to prevent them leaving, and even if they weren't, not all civilians can/will leave, so the proper amount of aid still must go in.

The rest of his post translates to him seeming to be having a meltdown on facebook because the plan is being opposed by humanitarian groups in Israel and not allowed by the supreme court. But the translation is shoddy so it's hard to make out exactly what he's on about. He sounds like a lunatic.

According to Times of Israel, aid trucks are going into Northern Gaza. It's hard to know what's happening. If thousands of Gazans start dying from starvation due to a deliberate reduction or cessation of AID by Israel, it's a sure way of destroying their western alliances. No war is popular, but no starvation campaign could ever be remotely justifiable.

Certainly has a reputation as a Hamas sympathiser:

I'm not surprised you quoted her.

You're back to the 'United Nations is Hamas' rhetoric I see. Parroting Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir etc.

So you are saying that she reports directly to the UN?
Yes. She is mandated by the UN, but her views don't necessarily reflect the views of the UN. They are her own independent views. It's incorrect to quote her work and say that is the view of the UN.

Do you think Israel should be held to account for the long list of UN resolutions that it has violated?
