Current WAR CRIMES Israel - * ICC issues warrants for Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu & Yoav Gallant & for Hamas's Mohammed Deif

The ICC has also issued a warrant for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif, who Israel says they have killed.

According to the ICC, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that Deif was “responsible for the crimes against humanity of murder; extermination; torture; and rape and other form of sexual violence; as well as the war crimes of murder, cruel treatment, torture; taking hostages; outrages upon personal dignity; and rape and other form of sexual violence”.

It also said there were reasonable grounds to believe the crimes against humanity were “part of a widespread and systematic attack directed by Hamas and other armed groups against the civilian population of Israel”.

For Netanyahu and Gallant, who was replaced as defence minister earlier this month, the chamber “found reasonable grounds to believe” that they “each bear criminal responsibility for the following crimes as co-perpetrators for committing the acts jointly with others: the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts”.

It also found reasonable grounds to believe that “each bear criminal responsibility as civilian superiors for the war crime of intentionally directing an attack against the civilian population”.

I discount any actions or accusations by the ICC, when they misapply "their rules".

The jurisdiction of the court extends only to those states that signed and ratified the statute. Israel did not. A state that has accepted the statute can refer a case to the court but only a state can. Gaza/"Palestine" is not a state.

That' is like getting off on a technicality. I'd like to see this run the course, Netanyahu and Gallant as I've said before are only two men.

If I'm half expecting some of the charges to fall away.

Then Israel can deal with them and it's anticipated they will.

Remember the charges are only until May 2024, if they’re continuing to investigate they may well add more charges, or charge additional parties.

Unusual that you haven't written a 5000 word essay with quotes from some zionists's uncle from 1941 attempting to debunk my claim, maybe because you know I can pull up a tonne of quotes supporting everything I said about the sad redneck genocidal terrorist organization Hamas.

Let the quote wars begin 🥱

Fathi Hammad Hamas Political Bureau member and fmr Minister of the interior in a speech to a crowd: "People of Jerusalem, we want you to cut off the heads of the Jews with knives. With your hand, cut their artery from here. A knife costs five shekels. Buy a knife, sharpen it, put it there, and just cut off [their heads]. It costs just five shekels. With those five shekels, you will humiliate the Jewish state.

On Hamas’s Al-Aqsa TV, Dean of Gaza Uni Quran studies Dr. Subhi Al-Yaziji “The Jews of Palestine are fair game today — even the women... every single Jew in Palestine is a combatant — even the children".

Hamas political bureau member Osama Hamdan: "Hamas has just one 'no' – no to the existence of Israel. I believe that Israel is the heart of the problem in our region, and that once Israel is gone from this region, an opportunity to resolve all the problems in this region will be opened"

Hamas official Talal Nasser on Turkish TV: "I believe that the occupation is heading towards annihilation, and on this platform, I swear by Allah, and let everybody remember this pledge: Those of us who will still be alive will tread with their pure feet... After we trample with our feet all over the skulls of the Zionists, we will tread on the land of Haifa, Jaffa, Tiberias, Jerusalem, and all of the West Bank and our dear [Gaza] Strip. There is no difference between the [borders of] 1967 and 1948. This lie, which fooled some defeatists in this nation, will not fool the people of this nation. Palestine is one bloc. It is either ours or ours"

Hamas co founder and leader Mahmoud Al-Zahhar: On this occasion, dear brothers and sisters, we cannot but recall the crimes of these criminal [Jews] throughout history. Today, we present the world with a bunch of questions, and we challenge it to answer them honestly, for today, interests overshadow moral values, elections overshadow principles, and Zionism has overshadowed the truth.

We ask the people of the world today: Why did France, in 1253, expel and uproot the Jewish entity, which was represented by the ghetto? Why did they expel them? Because they sucked the blood of the French, because they shed the blood of the French, slaughtered them, stole their money, and conspired against them. At the end of the day, the French had no choice but to expel them in 1253.

The [Jews] fled north, to Britain, and lived there for only 27 years, until the English realized the criminality of these people, who murdered them, sucked their blood, and stole their money. So they slaughtered hem, and expelled them in 1280.

We ask the French and the British: Why did you expel them? We ask Germany of pre-Hitler times: Why were the [Jews] expelled in 1384? We ask the [Jews] why France expelled them a second time, in 1360, why Hungry expelled them in 1360, and why Belgium expelled them in 1370.

This was not something new – it started even before 1253, on the day that Pharaoh the tyrant expelled them because they had shed the blood of the Egyptians, and had conspired with their enemies against them. So [Pharaoh] expelled them, after they lost their religion, after the time of Joseph.

Was this series [of explosions] anything new? No. After the Czechs expelled them in 1380. Austria expelled them in 1420, Holland in 1444, and Spain in 1492. Russia expelled them after they conspired to assassinate the Czar in 1882, and Germany expelled them once again in 1945.

The series of expulsions continues to this day. Blood continues to be shed, martyrs continue to fall, our sons continue to hoist the banner high, and Allah willing, their expulsion from Palestine in its entirety is certain to come. We are no weaker or less honorable than the peoples that expelled and annihilated the Jews. The day we expel them is drawing near.

Hamas official, Hamad Al-Regeb: He prayed for “annihilation” and “paralysis” of the Jews whom he described as filthy animals: “[Allah] transformed them into filthy, ugly animals like apes and pigs because of the injustice and evil they had brought about.” Al-Regeb also prayed for the ability to “get to the necks of the Jews.”

I could go on, these are speeches they give in the open or written in their media. Are they cancelled for these views No not at all, these views aren't controversial among Hamas and their supporters. Their founding charter which hasn't been revoked spells this out clearly. Fatah is different, and not all Palestinians feel this way obviously.

Of course there are some horrible statements, to go with the horrible actions. And just as you discount Israeli calls to eliminate Amalek, starve Gazans, genocidal comments from Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, much of it is bluster for rhetorical and domestic purposes.

When you pretend that the history is 'Hamas got elected and did some terrorism for no reason' like you did, I'm going to call you out on it.

All Israel has ever had to do is accept a Palestinian state and pull back to the 1967 borders. They can't even consider that possibility, because their goal is and always has been the military conquest of all of Palestine. They used terrorism to achieve that end and continue to this day.

You don't seem to have any problem with that attitude, I don't know why you would be so surprised that Palestinians would use the tools that were used against them.

I can admit Hamas is a ruthless and barbaric organisation - you can't see there's two sides to this conflict, and it's pretty childish.

Oh and when I say I could go on I actually mean it, unlike that time you found a witness to an incident of friendly fire on Oct 7th and mistakenly thought it was an incident I hadn't already accounted for and said you could go on but you couldn't when challenged to because that's all there was up to that point. There is a lot of this racist and genocidal rhetoric from Hamas officials and representatives. How this surprises anyone coming from an organization that perpetuates the most disgusting atrocities is beyond me.

I'm pretty deep inside your head, aren't I.

It's not a surprise at all.

Sad little racist genocidal paper tiger organization who can only fight civilians and from behind civilians.

I do love these little dummy spit codas, thankyou.

Israel will do what it must, to survive. It really doesn’t care what anyone else thinks or wants.

You say this so blithely and innocently, and seem 100% OK with it - yet you expect Palestinians to just be slowly erased from their land, accepting their fate meekly?

How can you possibly hold this dissonant opinion?

The jurisdiction of the court extends only to those states that signed and ratified the statute. Israel did not. A state that has accepted the statute can refer a case to the court but only a state can. Gaza/"Palestine" is not a state.

There is also the the principle of complimentarity. The remit of the court extends only to countries that were unwilling or unable to investigate a complaint of a war crime or was unable to do so.

Israel has lawfully defended its people and borders from genocidal terrorists. It has a fully functioning legal system and is conducting ongoing inquiries into the war.

In addition, there is no question that Hamas (an internationally recognised terror group) celebrates its leaders’ international crimes against Israelis and has no intention of holding them accountable.

We're in Australia, we are a signatory to ICC.

You can't discount ICC just because it is being used against Netanyahu & Gallant. As Palestine has an ICC mandate any warrants issued by ICC for alleged war crimes is a good thing. Not a bad thing.

ICC doesn't issue arrest warrants lightly, there has to be significant inculpatory evidence for them to do so.

Their whole charter, aims and goals are just bluster, guys :drunk: All they want is to live side by side with Israel in peace and also to abolish the private ownership of the means of production and to dismantle the patriarchy. They just meme about killing Jews and eradicating Israel in Minecraft, they don't really want to do it and when they actually do do it or praise it, they are being ironic.

Pretty scary if you are suggesting such quotes play well to their domestic audience though. I hope that's not true.
When you pretend that the history is 'Hamas got elected and did some terrorism for no reason' like you did, I'm going to call you out on it.
It wasn't for no reason, it was definitely for no good reason though.

Not possible with Hamas or other terrorist groups in charge that don't even accept a two state solution. The PA and Fatah could be worked with, but there has to be no security threat to Israel from the people in control of the new Palestinian state.
I'm pretty deep inside your head, aren't I.

It's not a surprise at all.
It was pretty funny.

It was two days later we saw the first one in Sydney iirc, a few hundred people maybe.

Yes, after which Israel had already launched an unprecedented vengeful bombing campaign on Gaza with no pretence of proportionality. That was the reason for the protest, not some Oct 7 celebration.

You know very well there's a revised charter.

It would have obviously been better if Hamas were never elected in Gaza, but there's a clear historical record of many attempts at ceasefire negotiations. I've shown that, but you will ignore it of course.

Pretty scary if you are suggesting such quotes play well to their domestic audience though. I hope that's not true.

They would think and hope they do - they weren't without support obviously. Hopefully they've put paid to that now.

It wasn't for no reason, it was definitely for no good reason though.

When every attempt at peace is rebuffed and every leader assassinated - how does one go about a lasting peace?

Even Israelis understand that a people with no army and no equipment, when faced with endless oppression, will resort to terrorism.

Zionists weren't even under illegal occupation or blockade; they embraced terrorism just to create their own country. That's a good enough reason for you though - after all Israel has some unimpeachable right to exist.

Take away the reasons for the security threat, and there would be none. End the occupation of the West Bank as per UNSC Resolution 242, a legally binding resolution which Israel have ignored for 57 years and counting. Stop applying the parts of Oslo that benefit them while ignoring the rest.

It was pretty funny.

Was funny in that you asked for a single piece of evidence, and when it was provided you handwaved it away under some nonsense pretence, as you always do.

Why so defensive? How do you know that was the reason for the protest in Sydney? Were you there?

It's beside the point anyway, which was a casual observation that the protests started up as an almost immediate response to October 7.

You know very well there's a revised charter.
You actually fall for that propaganda? Can you point me to any senior Hamas figure renouncing the old one? I looked and couldn't find any. It's reported that the new charter does not supplant the old one. Is their any Hamas acknowledgement of their racist foundation document? Or are they still out there saying the same old racist rhetoric and committing the same old terrorism.

Be extremely honest with me, if Israel had a founding charter anywhere near close to that racist but in 2017 they made a new one without officially revoking the old one and denouncing it, would you believe it and not reference their original charter as extremely strong evidence of their actual beliefs? Especially if their leaders were out there still saying stuff that lined up with their document.

Even Israelis understand that a people with no army and no equipment, when faced with endless oppression, will resort to terrorism.
No, lots of people don't do that, including lots of Palestinians. Pretty bizarre claim. The best movements have been largely peaceful with minimal terrorism. Civil rights in America, Ghandi in India, Nelson Mandela in South Africa.
Zionists weren't even under illegal occupation or blockade; they embraced terrorism just to create their own country. That's a good enough reason for you though - after all Israel has some unimpeachable right to exist.
Remember 1940? Have I said that early Israeli terrorist groups were justified in committing terror acts against civilians? The Lehi and Irgun's terror tactics were largely condemned by mainstream Jewish groups of the time if I am not mistaken, but I also don't care all that much about what happened 80 years ago :embarrassedv1:

A whataboutism that stretches back 80 years isn't really effective, you might want to update your talking points a bit.

Nobody agrees on this hence why its a stalemate. The withdrawal of Gaza brought less security to Israel, not more. Not sure how confident Israelis can be with your conclusion, but its easy for you to make it considering you live in Australia and don't have to suffer the consequences of being wrong. It's a horrible situation, not easy to solve. Hence why its dragged on for years.
Was funny in that you asked for a single piece of evidence, and when it was provided you handwaved it away under some nonsense pretence, as you always do.
I asked for a single piece of evidence did I?

You've just made this up. What happened is you brought up a case that I already accounted for as though it was proof of all these eye witness testimonies of choppers going around shooting Israeli civilians, which I said there was "almost none". You confidently said you could go on, but you couldn't because that's about all there was.

Alexander Downer says if he’d known how the ICC was going to be misused and distorted he wouldn’t have let Australia sign up. It was created to deal with bad people in dodgy countries with no viable legal system, not elected democracies that conduct their own enquiries. It has a history of taking sides and making wrong decisions.

  • Before the Prosecutor can investigate, he must conduct a preliminary examination considering such matters as sufficient evidence, jurisdiction, gravity, complementarity, and the interests of justice.
Why didn’t Prosecutor Khan go to Israel as planned and pulled out at the last minute? Why is this case mounted while the war is still in progress?

Aka poor African nations.

Not first world nations committing war crimes.

Once again, you’re not arguing they haven’t done it, you’re arguing a technicality that they shouldn’t be held responsible for it because <reasons>.

Israel is listed as a pariah state. That means it’s dodgy, yeah?

Antisemitic and Anti-Islamic hatred continues across Australia as idiots continue to take sides in the Middle East conflict.

Sydney woman Kelly Farrugia was arrested by NSW police officers on Dharug Country at her Parramatta home last Sunday afternoon, 22 December, in relation to her threatening a Palestinian mother and daughter in Bankstown Kmart a few days prior, after the footage of the incident went viral. And the 39-year-old was then charged at Granville police station and refused bail.

The mother captured the incident
on video, with the footage showing Farrugia dramatically approaching the woman and her daughter, flailing her arms out to the side before gesturing the middle finger, as she moves down a main aisle in the Kmart store, before stopping right before her two victims and menacingly hovering over them and shouting.

Speaking over social media, the Palestinian woman later explained that Farrugia’s threatening behaviour certainly had it’s desired effect, as she was frozen stiff and she was not sure how she could protect her daughter. “She looked like she could do some harm,” the mother continued, “because prior to the video, she had started throwing boxes at me and my daughter in an aisle.”

This Islamophobic incident was obviously related to the Israeli-perpetrated Gaza genocide, as the mother was wearing pro-Palestinian messaging on her shirt.

Farrugia, an ex-teacher already known to NSW Police has subsequently been hit with further charges after investigators uncovered bizarre YouTube playlists remarking on her former school. Apparently she tried to hit a Granville boys school principal with her car, saying in court he was using the school as his own 'pentagon'.

(beware - language)

Anybody would be frightened of that, she looks utterly crazed even psychotic.

By who? Some website with no credibility or standing? They provide no clear methodology but say the following:

"Who is considered a pariah state is also not uniformly defined. Even the German Wikipedia named other countries a few years ago than, for example, the Spanish or Chinese one. The English Wikipedia refrains from naming them altogether and merely lists characteristics. Many listings are also controversial, as they only take into account the view of individual states. Therefore, our list cannot claim to be the sole truth either"

Cool methodology based on random wiki pages whose citations are from sources that are 18-50 years old. :drunk:

What an embarrassment to Australia. Psycho.

It relates to that long list of UN resolutions that Israel haven’t complied with.
