Isn't Tredrea anti vax mandates rather than anti vax itself
That was certainly his focus and opposition during the COVID pandemic.

But his actions and comments post the pandemic indicate a much wider level of opposition to vaccinations generally.

He’s indicated strong support for RFK Jr’s. views and actions on his social media accounts for example. RFK Jr has strong anti-vax sentiments and perpetrated dangerous false information about the risks of vaccination in general and alternative dietary solutions to reducing the risk of infection, including in relation to the US measles outbreak.

His social media posts make a lot about 'encouraging different ideas and perspectives' which seems a harmless and even worthwhile point to make. But NOT when it comes to perpetuating the non-evidence based, factually incorrect and dangerous life threatening BS of others to large captive audiences such as cookers like RFK Jr. IMHO any sensible and responsible community leader has a duty to call that rubbish out for the utter BS it is.

None of this has anything to do with the on field performance of PAFC btw. And as I've said in previous posts, as long as Tredrea continues to separate his social media and personal interests and perspectives from his role as a member-elected PAFC Board member then I have no cause for complaint as a PAFC supporter and member.

Free speech (aka spreading lies) is a good thing, except when the free speech is about me!
Yeah and locking people in their houses for 6 months in Victoria was a just and great idea? It was ****ing mental. The vaccine was a piece of shit but the over reach was way more frightening. It would be like Ken Hinkley tucking you in your bed every night so tight you couldn't move. Kissing you on the forehead assurring you everything wi be okay.

He literally says in the video he respects Caro's right to express her opinion (or words to that effect).

The vaccine was a piece of shit

It literally wasn’t though.

It reduced the severity of illness in tons of people who otherwise would’ve been hospitalised, left permanently disabled or killed by COVID (the health system strains on a good day — imagine what would’ve happened if the RAH, Lyell and everywhere else in this state was brimming with sick and dying for months and months under the ‘let her rip’ fever dream Tony Abbott claimed he would’ve gone for if still PM).

You can argue mandates/closures/overreach until the cows come home, whether it was too much or too broad, but Australia came through better than most.

I think it had more to do with people happy enough to hide under doonas and run away from pizza boxes tbh.. and I say this as an obliging pin cushion.

Lol, whatsherface going public with her pizza box hypothesis before/amidst it being discovered the worker was breaking quarantine or whatever it was, was bonkers moronic.

The Yanks’ decision to open the batting by lying about the efficacy and importance of surgical masks in a bid to avoid early hoarding before pivoting once supplies were secured, was another masterstroke by people not terribly skilled at PR strategy.

Should have only been given to people at risk, not mandated for everyone and certainly not given to kids.

Very funny to be an "asking questions" guy at 40. 40 years of questioning nothin then immediately latching onto every popular right wing "anti establishment" billionaire funded culture war signpost. No, no, you are sheeple and I arrived at the decision to agree with all of Donald Trump, Elon Musk, RFK Jr etc independently because I am a Healed Free Thinker.

Then a lot more people would’ve died, both directly and indirectly, due to the hospitals being overwhelmed with cases.

If people are ok with that alternative versus any real or imagined boogeyman factor that the jabs were/are alleged to be responsible for, I get it, but I’m personally glad we didn’t see that alternative.

Is anyone really surprised that it takes a footballer 40 years to ask questions? I went to a party once where 25 to 30 year old Port Magpies players spent half the night tackling a sheep tied to a tree in the backyard.
