didn't i read in the paper at the start of the year timboon got a grant to fix/rebuild their club facilities seems that the money has gone to build a primiership. Hope they fall flat on their arse.
I think your clutching at straws with that theory. Why do you consider them any different to Merrivale or Kolora who throw money around to try buy premierships. Every WD team has done it at sometime.

Not even a comparison mate! Most likely the money for Bienke would be considerably more than what Merrivale or the Power are throwing around.
Both sides have got players coming in who have had past connections with the two respective clubs, whats Bienke got in common with Timboon despite once everyone sat in the Timboon Pub and watched a Crows game back in his heydey either that or the farmers have had a good season and what to reap some tax benefits by donating to the Bienke personal training charity

i totally agree... timboon wont be able to build their club rooms now cause they have spent all their money on bienki and matho is an absolute tool, couldnt coach his way out of a wet paper bag.

Spot on mate, I think it has been a good year for the farmers, milk prices are up and looks like the money in lining Bienke's pocket, Romour is that Timboon had to pay out his remaining years contract with South as well as this yeas cash, not smart in my books

If your looking for a good game to watch stick with the Panmure boys. Should give Collegians a touch up this week!!!!! If you are brave enough just go and barrack for whoever play Timboon each week.

timboon just lost their sense of smell!!!! Anyone see the paper about their claims on the "can u smell it"? wot a load of crap......they said it at half time of last years granny and it came back to bite them!!!!......they had their best team on the park and were beaten by a side who had 5 of their premiership players out.......since theyve been in the league theyve only won one...count it....one final. Im not convinced about how good they are till they win a flag...and if they win it this year they paid about a hundred grand to do so!!! Seems they are so desperate to win one theyll pay anything!! GO whoever plays them each week!!
They have a real lack of key defenders, their resting ruckman was playing at Full-Back while two of the so-called "big four forwards" Hickey and Timms played most of the game across half-back. Then Beinke went up the ground to get in the game where he got the ball but was not close enough to goal to mount any real pressure.
That could be about the most obvious statement I have ever heard! Surely that applies to every team, every season. You are a flog.
Do you know they paid a hundred grand? No, You are just speculating and making shit up. And so what of their finals history? They came up from a smaller league, they lose most of their good jukiors to Cobden and Camperdown or to Melbourne for university. Now they have finally been recruiting players, they must be paying out thousands right. You don't know shit mate. Every WDFNL team has payed out for good recruits. Don't be so naive to think Timboon is the only club to have done so. Teams have been enticing players with money forever.

Im giving reasons for them not being successful straight away, not excuses. You obviously know absolutely nothing about Timboon, probably some dumb ass teenager who doesn't know there is a whole life outside Warrnambool. Bring some proof of how many "Thousands" they have spent. While you research that, check out the spending of every WDFNL club over the last twenty years and you will see that everyone spends on recruits. For a team that you don't rate, you spend a hell of a lot of time worrying about what they are upto. Get a life, and worry about your own side, which notice you have not stated.

No one has spent as much as timboon because they want to fork out the mega bucks to get a flag because not having won one is eating them alive.......u must be a timboon person still sookin over last years granny when they stole defeat from the jaws of victory. A granny where they blamed everyone and everything else except them selves for the loss.....To this day they cant see how throwing a bloke to the ground after he takes a mark is always a 50 m penalty, especaially in the last quarter of a close one..who are they trying to kid????? Let legend have it that the frees they gave away were always there...welcome to the real world!!!!!! By the way, i dont have to prove wot they r paying this year when its common knowledge......wake up u clown!!
