He's extremely hard to tackle, it's been something in his game since he started.

He doesn't look super strong but seems to be able to fend people off and also has a habit of wriggling out of tackles. He did it again after the Saad one just prior to the Fog goal as well.
I think he's aware he's lost that pace/mobility and compensated by improving his movement timing/decision making (i.e. He times his movement to make it as awkward as possible for the tackler/defender). He seemed to have a lot of time/space.

Can only imagine what could have been without the ACLs.

Agree. I think he is still a fair ways away from being AFL fit. His time on ground the past 5 weeks has been 76%, 77%,77%, 70%, 72%.

Good thing is it doesn't seem as though his pace has been affected.

Watch with 8:00minutes to go in the 2nd quarter. Carlton turns the ball over at half back and he starts behind Saad and speeds past him to force a contest at half forward.
That was an amazing effort. Milera was great on the weekend, I've been a big critic, more performances like that and I will admit I'm wrong

I actually don't think he's lost much pace or mobility at all.

A fully fit and confident Milera will be an important aspect of our rebuild. One of the quickest in the team and is likely to be one of our most agile too. Very hard to tackle once he’s in full flight!

He was good on the weekend. Easily his best game this year as he's struggled for form. Just hoping this game was a sign of things to come and not just down to Carlton's woeful defensive pressure.

Needs to become the norm not the exception.

After his cracking game last week, I kept a close eye on Milera at the Crows open training at Optus Stadium this afternoon. It's only a kick&catch session to move the legs after the fight so can't read too much into it, but he was noticeably nimble, moving well, sharp hands. Looked in good nick. I'm hopeful that he continues to improve and has another solid game tomorrow vs Eagles.

Did I hear correctly that the 3rd ump said that there was insufficient evidence to prove it wasn't touched? Shouldn't it be the other way round? Or was he supporting the goal umpire's decision?

I believe Umpire’s call was touched, and the reviewer didn’t see sufficient evidence to overturn?

He's very strong over the ball, one of those guys that seem impossible to put off balance, even when in the process of picking up off the ground.

This was amazing. There was daylight in all angles.

There was also a lot of fuzz in all angles. I'd consider binning the whole system. I accept they could upgrade their kit to get a much better result around the goal line, but the further out the ball is, the worse it is. Or invest appropriately and limit it to stuff that happens in the goal square and across the line. Anything outside the goal square is umpires call and just live with it.
