You have to admire how Ellyse Perry bleeds magenta. Despite leading the Golden Bat award (presented by BKT Tires), she refuses to wear the attention-seeking yellow cap. Because of her dedication to the Sixers. And yes, a large endorsement from Toyo Tires.

Anyway, on Friday she is set to become the first player to captain 100 WBBL games (currently 59 wins, 39 losses and 1 no result). Next most is Meg Lanning (78 all up--54 with the Stars, 24 with the Scorchers) whose tactics lived on today when Nicole Faltum chose to chase on a pitch that had already seen 180 overs of action since Thursday.

This Blacktown pitch is deplorable, the bounce is so uneven, the ball that got Carey barely made over toenail height.

The Hurricanes struggled to make it to 9/109.

Perth should win, but I think it will be difficult because the pitch is so poor.

Yep. Honestly I hope they move the Smash. Honestly just play two at North Sydney

I think there are only three games left at Blacktown, one tomorrow and a double header including the first Sydney derby in November. The remainder of the games in Sydney will be played at North Sydney in the final week.

I hope they move the first Syd smash. Pitch is a flat disgrace I went Sunday night nit going again if it’s at Blacktown

7/144 is a pretty good score at Blacktown from the Hurricanes. Will be a tough chase

I am over it least Amy can show up these plods and Chloe Tryon isn’t there to run Haynes out again.

Do the Thunder not have any more spinners on their list? Got the tactics all wrong, if I'm a WBBL team I'd be aiming for at least 12-14 overs of spin.

Have a few developing ones plus Tryon who is unavailable this game

Looks like game over with Litchfield gone, she was the key for the Thunder

Litchfield was looking pretty good until an inside edge onto the stumps. Looked a little lazy from Litchfield, didn't really move her feet.

Looking at the Thunder squad I don't think they are going to win too many games this season, they are pretty light after the first four.
