Ladder after Game 34:

Renegades book their tickets to the Finals.

And unless there is dodgy weather , they are a real shot of hosting the big dance.

Brisbane v Stars tomorrow and I said it the other night the Stars have checked out for WBBL 10. Id be surprised if they came close to Brisbane.

With the remaining fixtures, Brisbane would fancy winning both of those games. Although 2nd spot is a more likelier position for them.

There is a chance the loser of Thunder v Renegades could finish as low as 3rd, which would be a real downer given the positions they are in now.

7,000 capacity is a bit too small for me.

If I stand to be corrected Adelaide have hosted a Grand Final at Adelaide Oval, Scorchers have hosted a WBBL Grand Final at Perth Stadium.

And its cricket season too, so MCG would be a worthy venue.

In her post match interview with Wareham, Kirby Short said "you've got the chance to host the final at the G"

So, that answers the question of where it would be held

Sixers way of making the Finals now relies on 2 potential pathways:

1) Win against Brisbane, hope Brisbane lose their 2 final matches. In those 2 games, hope their NRR from those 2 matches overtakes Brisbanes.

2) Win against Brisbane, Hobart beat Perth. And from those 2 matches, hope their NRR overtakes them past Hobart.

if your a Renegades fan, surely your coming down to cheer the girls?

I checked our match time the other day and the 10am start is a killer for me - it's a roughly 90 minute drive or 2hr public transport trip to Junction Oval for me from home, add in its expected to be 37c I'm probably going to watch from the comfort of my couch

When we had back to back home games last year, I'd stay in Melbourne to make it easier to get to games as it's such a pain trying to get up there for the early starts

Stars may get 1 point out of the match thanks to the weather,

A washed out game on Sunday, is a good outcome for the Thunder, as its a free-hit for them on Saturday, with their NRR already better than Brisbanes.

Also we could have a rain-affected game in Brisbane tomorrow:

Dang, what a way to end the WBBL season. Imagine if Brisbane got 2 NO results from their last 2. Imagine if we had 3 of the last 5 games being no results.

The weather forecast isn't pretty for the Heat vs Stars but no weather forecaster predicted the near 70mm of rain we had on Saturday. It'll all depend on when the rain stops and the drainage at Allan Border field. I went to a game last year where it drizzled for much of the day and we got a full game in that night.

If its a shortened game, it should favour Brisbane as well.

Could shuffle the order around, get the Harris sisters up front, JJ batting 3rd is what I would be looking at.

Stars are woeful, and Im not sure who their best power hitter right now is. Sutherland looks cooked. Maybe bring Meg Lanning up.

I'd keep Laura Harris where she is. Have her take the surge just after she comes in and hopefully go berserk for a couple of overs.
