She isnt a specialist bat.
The decision to bat her at 3 at the World Cup was a mistake.
The Australian hierarchy thought she could come out as a pinch hitter. You always play your specialist bats over the all rounders.

Not sure if its me, but Wellington moves slow across the ground. Fair to say, she isnt the most athletic of the women out there.

Bringing her in as a pinch hitter in the 3rd is just a head scratching decision - even as a Gades fan I simply didn't understand that decision
Her best score this season is the 61 from our first match when she came in at 5 in the 13th over - so playing with the lower order, but less time to have to manage an innings and more that opportunity to just go for it

Hasn't it been speculated that one aspect of her game that has her behind Wareham & King in the pecking order for an Australian call up is her fielding compared with that two - especially Wareham who's normally a really solid out fielder

Adelaide wouldnt mind having Dottin back in their squad right about now.
They would much prefer over their current imports .

Dottin only played this well twice for the Strikers. She did win us a semi and a final with those two matches.

Wolvaart has cost the strikers any chance in this match looking like 185 was under par looks a 200+ wicket
At least it puts the Strikers' season to bed and I won't have to live with a false hope.
