I have no objections that Yeo ownership is down to 15%. Still quite a high percentage own him, but well down on what it was. People probably jumping onto Sheridan, Lonergan, Rich or another midprice trap. It's the only thing NAB has given me this year :(

Yeo's 2015 form running through the guts and up forward in a full-strength team is our warrant here. We know he'll be playing there. If the 58SC he received in the scrappy / sloppy / low-effort GC match is indication of how low his scoring is could get on a bad day, this doesn't really set him apart from other top 10 defenders last year. We know the ceiling is high, and it's not unreasonable to think the lows won't be so low either with 1-2 more inside mids in the team.

I still see him finishing as a top 10 defender, probably with some great games and poor games like every other freakin defender
I'm tending to agree with this. IF, and thats a big if, he can play mid forward, he'll go up 10 points probably, and that would make him a handy defender. He'll kick goals and get inside 50. He is good by foot and can take a grab. Its his fourth year now, he is ready. Have only just started to consider him now the plan is to play him forward and mid.

Better options than Duggan for mine & I love the boy.

Also gone cold on Yeo, not enough to warrant pick right off the bat for me.
What is your hesitation with Yeo man?
No more mr fix-it, it would seem.

We have personelle to cover disasters down back, Welly, Gov and Nelson. Surely Yeo won't need to go to defence.

From what I saw, he is most definitely Mr Fix It. Was unimpressive when given more responsibility on ball.

I think given our early draw he will score the 60-80 mark, not enough to warrant picking him right off the bat. On my early upgrade list however.

This. I really think if you're going to pick someone from us for your defensive line it's shep this year. See him averaging 80-90. Which at his price would be a huge boon.

G'day guys.....Hurn - is priced at a 76 ave. historically averages high 80's/low 90's. McKenzie back - does this see him go back up to mid-high 80's again? or steer clear? thanks

I'm a massive Hurn fan in SC.

But I'd steer clear in 2016.

thanks for that guys. didn't think about the tagging issue.

Tags only happen these days when you can significantly limit the opposition's attack in some way - the fact that we have other classy ball users down back now means he shouldn't get tagged very often, someone else would just roll in and do exactly the same thing. I'd be more worried about him continuing to do lockdown roles occasionally though, he's a bit underrated for his defensive work.
