Not that an animal mascot needs to match the team name. For instance, you won't find a wedge-tailed eagle on the West Coast of anywhere that isn't in captivity.

I see they're about to sink $2 billion on a stand that already exists at the MCG. One single stand. Won't somebody think of the children? Surely that money would be better spent on hospitals.

No need to spend a billion in the stadium for 10 games a year. It's obscene in the current climate.
I think we all agree, that it's best for everyone to have North or Hawf move down there to avoid a bye and avoid 21 more spuds getting a game of AFL.
