You are correct if you are talking about the pre-trade period biding process.

In the draft itself you can take any academy player (that wasn't bid on) with whatever pick you like.

Actually the answer depends on what the question meant. We can't take on of our nominated academy players as they've already been allocated picks. We can however use it on Hammelman if we wanted as he's just like every other draftee now (unless he gets through to the rookie draft). So the answer is yes we can use it on an academy player but no longer in a priority sense

Nah, you have as many live picks as you need up until your list is full (38 to 40 senior listed players), even if you have to pick into the 20th round. Pick 67 doesn't give us an additional live pick - instead it replaces whatever we would have had to previously use (a 7th rounder - 117 or something).
