Welcome everyone! This is GremioPower bringing you the weather recap for this season.

[Not directly me. It may be preferable someone different.]

[OK. Now that I have your attention, let's go on.]

As you may know, qooty is played in 5 different conditions: Cloudy, Fine, Muddy, Rainy, and Warm. They all affect the game differently.

Warm is the most common one and the "neutral" condition. Cloudy and Fine tend to improve the stats; while Muddy and Rainy tend to do the opposite.

There has been 102 matches so far this season. This is how the weather conditions were distributed:

Screen Shot 2021-06-05 at 00.33.55.png

For a 102-game season, the expected distribution would be, respectively: 48, 22, 22, 5, 5. So, Rainy, Muddy, and Fine have happened more than expected.

The club that has played in the best conditions overall this season was the Coney Island Warriors.
The club that has faced the worst conditions overall was the Fighting Furies.

Stay tuned for more information on the Season 31 weather, right here. Home and Away breakdown, club by club analysis, and much more.

Loser talk.
Just do it and tell us to live with it.

Isn't there one more hidden weather condition only brought out for special games? Apocalyptic or something.
Only Mobbs could answer that, I’m afraid. I have never heard of it before.

The Good, The Bad, and The Neutral
sfa-s31-weather-report-png.1146958

The Good, The Bad, and The Neutral

In qooty, 'Good Weather' is either Fine or Cloudy.

I. This season, the Good-Weather clubs were:
- Warriors and Wonders (7 matches each);
- Bears, Furies, and Swamprats (5).

II. The venues with better weather don't exactly match that list. The teams who have host most of the Good Weather matches were:
- Wonders (4 matches);
- Bombers, Royals, Swamprats, and Warriors (3 each).

III. And the teams who have gifted the best weather to their hosts were:
- Furies and Warriors (4 matches each);
- Bears and Wonders (3).

---

On the other hand, 'Bad Weather' is either Rainy or Muddy.

I. This season, the Bad-Weather clubs were:
- Furies (8 matches);
- Demons, Roys, and Wonders (7 each).

II. The teams who have host most of the Bad Weather matches were:
- Furies (6 matches);
- Wonders (5).

III. And the teams who have carried the storms with them when away were:
- Bombers, Demons, Dragons, and Roys (4 matches each);
- Bears, Swamprats, and Warriors (3).

---

Finally, 'Neutral Weather' is Warm.

I. This season, the Neutral-Weather clubs were:
- Bombers and Hawks (10 matches each);
- Dragons and Royals (9).

II. The teams who have host most of the Warm matches were:
- Bombers and Hawks (6 matches each);
- Bears, Dragons, and Furies (5).

III. And the teams who have played the most away Warm matches were:
- Royals (6 matches)
- Swamprats (5).

---

"There's no rain in Adbu's Prison"
The Baghdad Bombers have host ZERO matches in bad weather.

While away, however, the Bombers have played ZERO matches in good weather.
Only the Gold Coast Royals have managed to do the same.

Welcome everyone! This is GremioPower back with more weather news – now, for SFA S32!

And with more weather girls, of course:

As you may know, qooty is played in 5 different conditions: Cloudy, Fine, Muddy, Rainy, and Warm. They all affect the game differently.

Warm is the most common one and the "neutral" condition. Cloudy and Fine tend to improve the stats; while Muddy and Rainy tend to do the opposite.

The odds for the weather in a particular game would be: Warm, 47.4%; Cloudy/Rainy, 21.1% (each); and Fine/Muddy, 5.3% (each).

(S32) Round 1
sfa-s32-weather-report-png.1218016

Good morning, Sweet!

weather-girl.gif

We are back to talk about the weather in the opening round. The fixture saw matches in Abu Ghraib (Bombers-Bears), Docklands (Warriors-Demons), Nou Camp (Swamprats-Roys), Punt (Phoenix-Dragons), Golden Valley (Royals-Furies), and Gumbania (Gumbies-Wonders).

However, the different venues didn't matter much. A heat wave has hit almost the whole of Sweet. Every single match was played in Warm conditions, but for the one at The Eyrie. The Hot Air came from the Northwest, pushing the clouds away towards the ocean.

S32 Weather R1 Map.jpg

Punt and matchless Dragon Island were the only places in the entire municipality to have the sun covered by clouds. The Cloud weather helped the Fire Derby to explode. The teams combined for the most points scored in the weekend - 257 out of 62 scoring shots!

Good morning, Sweet!

Trying to catch up with the season, we also bring you the S32R02 Weather Report.

13004b02f9c79ae63874faf89d733602.gif

This time the fixture set matches in Old Town (Roys-Gumbies), Mt. Buller (Demons-Swamprats), Nou Camp (Bears-Phoenix), Punt (Furies-Bombers), Beldribilin (Dragons-Warriors), and Rasasidge (Wonders-Royals).

The only predictable thing about Sweet's weather is its unpredictability. This week, a mass of hot air came from the East Coast, bringing storms throughout the City.

Still, by the time the round was being played, the matches in the Eastern ovals (Eyrie, Lair) enjoyed a Warm weather; while those more central (BJO, Colosseum) experienced perfect Fine conditions.

S32 Weather R2 Map.jpg

It was only in Nou Camp (Sky) that qooty happened in Rainy conditions. At Mt. Buller (Snow Dome), with the rain coming only later in the day, the match between Demons and Rats ended up being under a Cloudy weather. Both sides took the opportunity to make R1 game between PHX and DRA look like a low-score affair.

Dees and Rats combined for 304 points out of 69 scoring shots.

(S32) Round 3
sfa-s32-weather-report-png.1218016

Good evening, Sweet!

We are back! Now, with the S32R03 Weather Report.

tracking_weather_girls_05.gif

In this round, matches were played in Old Town (Roys-Wonders), Mt. Buller (Demons-Phoenix), Nou Camp (Bears-Royals; Swamprats-Warriors), Punt (Furies-Gumbies), and Beldribilin (Dragons-Bombers).

This week, a mass of cold air came from the Southwest, relieving all of us from the heat we have been experiencing lately. Yet, it also brought the rain.

Fortunately, due the scheduled gametimes, only in the City's Far-West (Snow Dome) a qooty match was held under Rainy conditions. Four games happened in a Warm weather; mainly in the Eastern Ovals (hippodrome; Lair), but also near Downtown (BJO).

S32 Weather R3 Map.jpg

In Nou Camp (Sky, Underground), there were two matches. Due security concerns, they didn't happen simultaneously. The match at the Underground was first, and Rats-Warriors played in regular Warm weather.

Later, however, with the cold front approaching, lots of clouds covered the Sky; which brought the temperatures down. The clash between Bears and Royals went in Cloudy conditions. The third match under such a condition in as many rounds.

However, the weather seemed to have affected only the hosts, who outscored their visitors by 120 to 79.

(S32) Round 4

Good morning, Sweet!

We are back! Now, with...

Err..., where was I?... Oh! Back with the S32R04 Weather Report.

Finally getting up-to-date, we bring those matches played in Old Town (Roys-Furies), Mt. Buller (Demons-Royals), Nou Camp (Bears-Wonders; Swamprats-Bombers), Beldribilin (Dragons-Gumbies), and Docklands (Bulldogs-Pow... [Sorry, for some reason, it's hard to stay focused on this job.] ... Warriors-Phoenix).

As you can see from the image below, an early mass of hot air coming from the Southeast brought Warm weather to the entire city this weekend.

S32 Weather R4 Map.jpg

Every match, from Dragon Island (Lair) in the Far-East to Mt. Buller (Snow Dome) in the Far-West, were played in Warm conditions. The game that most resembled being held in a different weather happened in the Docklands (VCP).

Warriors and Phoenix left their defenses away from the oval and gifted the audience with a breathtaking old-school-qooty shootout. Ultimately, the home side won: 129-118.

(S32) Round 5
sfa-s32-weather-report-png.1218016

Good morning, Sweet!

Once again, we are back for more S32 Weather Report!
This weekend was S32R05, and weather fans got a treat!

Weather Girl.gif

No. Not that treat!

I was actually referring to the fact that no more than 2 matches shared the same conditions. Today, we bring you matches played in Abu Ghraib (Bombers-Demons), Golden Valley (Royals-Dragons), Gumbania (Gumbies-Bears), Punt (Phoenix-Swamprats), Rasasidge (Wonders-Furies) and Docklands (Warriors-Roys).

The image below shows the cold front coming from the Northwest that pushed last week's heat back to the Ocean, while bringing clouds, rain, mud, and lower temperatures to Sweet - even though, not all of those conditions affected matches.

S32 Weather R5 Map.jpg

The round's earliest match, in Punt (Eyrie), happened in Warm conditions. It was also hot in Rasasidge (Colosseum), where the mountains blocked the cold front from reaching there.

The matches in Gumbania (House) and Abu Ghraib (Prison) happened before the arrival of the rain, but with the Cloudy skies already announcing what was coming.

Still, players and spectators in Golden Valley (Throne) and Docklands (VCP) didn't have the same fate and had to endure a Rainy qooty afternoon. There are people certain that the water was ordered by the Sim Himself, as a way of blessing Mobbs' 500th match. Truth be told, I am one of them!

How can I not believe it? After all, there's plenty of evidence!

Only the home team suffered with the weather. The Roys played as if it were dry. They couldn't do anything wrong. Aristotle Pickett was the only Roy to kick a behind on the weekend. The rest of the team was flawless.

Half of the side scored goals. Mooch kicked a bag. Wosh gave Dav a hiding at the ruck. Mobiir Mobiir marked everything at CHB... It was a massacre! Besides, even the qumpires joined the party, giving the visitors twice as many frees as they called for the hosts – something about which Tonga Bob has a lot to talk; I'm sure.

The final siren came as a relief for the Warriors who lost by 61 points: 121-60.
