That’s correct, it’s a shame some people can’t see this. I would like to think when the others are out of contract, they are next to go
So if they were aligned to Dumma why aren’t the others being moved on now in what was nominally then end of Dummas tenure, why is Rutten still there as an example

Still under contract, if i had it my way he would be gone as well.

If Yze wants to change them up he is free to do so.
But maybe Rutten is still a very good coach? Plenty swore by him just a few short years ago.

I certainly didn’t , I was on the Leppa and Cara train

Dimma left Gale and the Club in a shambles...
Assist coaches leaving, two playas from GWS to help with our last dance...costing the Club big time in draft picks...
Injuries.big time...
PRO dev and Gale leaving...
Oze left holding the bag with dimma's remminants...
Next year is the time to judge Oze...

Would judge on development of players rather then fully win/loss. As mostly will be kids.

I think people are little naive to think that this will be a quick turnaround rebuild, not saying it can't be but the more you throw away your best experienced senior players the longer it usually going to take.

Not everyone is a Harley Reid, these 18 year old will take time. it took Shai Bolton 3 years to start getting a regular game.
So as long as people are happy with this taking 3-4 years before we start seeing results.

You have to remember also with how big our draft hand is we are likely to pick up some duds, I hope it doesn't happen but the reality is they not all going to be winners.

I think if I was a young guy I would find out what he was like as a player. Seems natural but maybe my theory is ridiculous. But what are examples of successful outside player coaches?
McRae?

Love what is happening at the club at the moment. Yze has asked for full commitment from everyone and those that want to depart are allowed to make their moves. The only way we get back to being the club we were during the premiership years is with everyone on board and fully engaged.

Thankfully this year has happened and has opened up the eyes of those in charge to see that change was needed and not just subtle tweaks, but a major overhaul.

Get the off field appointments sorted now, with regards to assistants and fitness, let Hartley do his thing at the trade table and then Toce can pick the eyes out of the draft and give Yze the players that can be developed as a group to execute the game plan.

This season was a disaster from the moment the injuries started to happen, before that we'd beaten the Swans, pushed the Power and matched it with Carlton despite being down to 2 on the bench before half time.

Spot on, if we are truly doing this full rebuild thing, Ooze will need another 3 years before he gets ultimately judged.

Completely unfair to say he only has 1-2 years to show his wares when the cupboard is bare from a talent perspective.

So all the people who are saying trade everyone for picks, that’s fine, but you also need to be realistic and open to maybe only winning 12-15 games over the next 3 years.

Absolutely , We can’t make everyone happy regardless of who the coach is. Most of our list are youth, so Yze should be given the opportunity to continue after his current deal.

THIS...and then the shakey Membership numbers and shy sponsors will bring even further pressure to bear for change...

Let’s give him 8 years and be done with it , **** me

The weak-hearted will jump off and come back when we are winning again, its painful watching the losses but it makes the wins sweeter

So after 3 years don’t judge him on any metric at all, just auto extend him because we have a young list. What a load of crap

If we’re heading in the right direction and the extension is warranted then good, if not then thanks and we go a different way

I get you love Yze but what you’re advocating for is garbola. Blind extensions with no basic standards is how a club ends up for the tip

Yze has really been given a poison chalice. I hope the club admin and supporters see this period for what it is - a painful rebuild. The next few years are going to be tough on everyone but they will be worth it for another crack at a Dynasty. I just hope Yze can enjoy the fruit of his labour by that stage.
