Not sure if you can do mea culpas here but when the poll was up I first voted Ken Hinkley. Only candidate I really did not want was giansiracusa. I love yze’s humility and he is nervous in the media. He gets to grow into the role and grow with the players.
It’s a great appointment.

he mentioned why in the interview, can't remember the words to paraphrase but something along the lines of the only changes that you could make on game day that mattered were related to his current(at the time) coaching role, so i assume that meant goodwin figured he would get more out of his role as head coach by getting around the players on the bench and coaching from there

i'd reckon he'd be up there wanting to micromanage his "new toys", maybe years down the line after our 3-peat and he has the faith and trust in one of his assistants that they know what he wants, maybe then he will head down to the boundary line, who knows
